Re: RPI Pros V

Team Canada lost today in the Semifinals of the Spengler Cup to HC Geneve Servette 6-5. Allen York got the start but was pulled at 3:07 of the 2nd period after giving up 3 goals on 12 SOG. Yorkie was replaced by Matt Hackett of the Roch. Amerks who TC had beaten on Sunday while he was the Rochester goalie. As noted in Post #642 Yorkie replaced Chris Mason for the 3rd period of that game so maybe Mason was injured. Also of note, Yorkie is credited with allowing all 6 goals today but if you clik on the Play By Play in the link you'll see Yorkie was replaced @ the 3:07 mark of the 2nd by Hackett and there was no mention of any other goalie change the rest of the way (except for when TC pulled the goalie at the end)..... http://stats.hockeycanada.ca/game/show/6689297?subseason=140708&referrer=1048002&referrer=1048002

Re: RPI Pros V

York took a 4-1 loss last night. One has to wonder when was the last time he played two nights in a row. I hope that South Carolina continues to use him as their number one goalie.

Re: RPI Pros V

Brandon Pirri named to the AHL All-Star Team. Probably for last years accomplishments. BP is currently sidelined with a leg injury and has missed the last 3-4 Rockford games. http://theahl.com/ahl-roster-named-for-2014-all-star-classic-p189697
Pirri update

Brandon Pirri missed his eighth consecutive game Saturday for the Rockford IceHogs. He suffered a lower-body injury Dec. 30.

Rockford coach Ted Dent said Pirri started skating last week but not in full practices. Dent said there’s no timetable for his return.

Re: RPI Pros V

BP's back in the lineup tonight. Scored a goal....SH! I like seeing him on the PK. It's something he needs to work on, at least be comfortable on, for when he gets back to Chicago....and he will...http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1011709 ......BTW, JD'A also had a SHG in his game tonight. I've noticed he's getting more SOG since he was sent back to the Marlies. Good to see the boys working on things that are needed to get back to the NHL.... http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1011706
