Re: RPI Pros V

I don't recall who played that year. Mike McPhee, Larry Landon, and Steve Stoyanovich played in 83-84. Don Cutts had played earlier, but not part of the streak.
....going thru this years Yearbook I see the same years & players that you noted (no 82-83). BTW, Toronto beat Rochester this afternoon 2-0. Bailen did play (0-line) while JD'A scored 1g & 1a....named #2 Star. http://theahl.com/marlies-take-2-0-series-lead-p183457 .....Also, Allen York hasn't seen playing time yet as he's been Springfield's backup in their 1st Rd. Playoffs with Manchester....Springfield leads the series so far 1-0, 2-2 in OT so far in Game 2.

Did RPI issue a Yearbook this year?

Re: RPI Pros V

I thought that might not have been the best word. No, they didn't. It was the Program they sell at home games....kind of of a scaled down version of the old Yearbook.

Thanks. I figured that if there was one, someone would have mentioned it.

Re: RPI Pros V

Jerry D'Amigo (1 A, 2 SOG, +1) and the Marlies defeated Nick Bailen ( -2 :() and the Amerks in OT to sweep their playoff series 3-0 and advance. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1011042 Hopefully Rochester liked what they saw in the past month or so and will offer him a contract for next year.

The Springfield Falcons are up 2-0 in their playoff series with a game tomorrow. Allen York hasn't started either of the first two games, but has dressed as backup.

D'Amigo's assist came on a Toronto shorthanded goal with Bailen on the ice :(

I didn't realize this was a best of 5 till this morning. Once healed from his injury Nicky played in every game for Rochester. The off-season circle-of-life for Buffalo has already started as D-Man, Jochen Hecht, has already announced his retirement. A full year in the "A" would be great for Nicky's progress towards that brass ring.

Hecht is a forward, but yes.

Regier stated that they want to "move quickly" on finding a head coach for next season (aka the current interim coach is going to be named the head coach), so, yea, the off-season is in full swing in Sabre-land.
