RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

USCHO decided that they need to remake every link to use https instead of http, which is not supported by collegehockeystats.net. It's super obnoxious and I'm not sure what the best workaround is other than deleting the 's' from your address bar after you click.

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

This is really late, sorry. Congratulations to Ralph Baer, RPI fan 4 life, and MavHockey14 on the weekly (one game) win!

We won a game, but this was one of the least diverse set of picks we've had. Chase Zieky (no one) scored a couple goals and gave RPI the lead early in the first period. Literally everyone (well, five of us) picked Payusov, but defenseman Miles Gendron (no one) was the real MVP for the Huskies.

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Polino isn't dressed today. I don't know why. Anyone else who picked him might want to change before game time today.

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Congratulations to MavHockey14 on their back-to-back weekly win! They are joined by engineerhockeyfan as recipients of the bonus point.

No one from RPI was worth anything on Friday. Brown was led by Brent Beaudoin (no one), who both kicked off and closed out the scoring. Gavin Nieto (no one) got the shutout.
FREAKOUT! was a little better for the boys in cherry, as Ottoville Leppanen (wrong night syndrome for everyone!)potted a goal and added an assist in the losing cause. Across the ice, all three Yale goal scorers were good options, but Justin Pearson (FlagDUDE08, Ralph Baer, MavHockey14) is the only one we actually picked.
I didn't think this would ever be an issue, but just to clarify, shootouts don't exist. Yesterday's game ended in the most exciting possible way, a nil-nil draw. As such, Owen Savory and Darion Hanson both earned shutouts and were the only players to earn points on Tuesday.

Taking another look at the position pick limits: with 18 picks left to make, the only person truly in danger of exceeding a limit is engineerhockeyfan. Just be careful not to surpass 50 forwards, 30 defensemen, or 10 goalies.

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Link back to the first post with details on scoring

Finally we have completed the non-league portion of the schedule, leaving us with just nine games left to play. This weekend, we host the Central NY duo. We might actually be able to beat Colgate (7-15-2), but we're probably screwed against the other red team (12-6-1).

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday, February 1.

You may NOT choose the following players for this weekend:
RPI: Jacob Hayhurst, Ottoville Leppanen, and Will Reilly
Colgate: Bobby McMann, Josh McKechney, and Nick Austin
Cornell: Morgan Barron, Cam Donaldson, and Yanni Kaldis
