RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Now I am going to spend all week wondering why Véronneau has an é, but Leppänen doesn't have an ä. :D

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Because [alt-E, E] is easier than [alt-U, A]. Also because I took French for 8 years and no Finnish.

The only way that I know how to do that directly is using the alt key together with 4-digit sequences on the number pad, and I have long forgotten those codes. Instead I cut and paste from a word processor. BTW, next year the women will have a Nystrøm.

One of the advantages to Linux. Set up your Compose key as that WinBlows key that never gets used, then it's Compose-'-e and Compose-"-a. Both just as easy. I believe ø is Compose-/-o.

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Congratulations to MavHockey14 on their fourth weekly win in the last five weeks! Imagine if you hadn't missed any weeks?

RPI scored so many goddạmn goals on Friday. It was great. Jake Johnson (no one) didn't score any of them, but he did lead RPI in PtC points (I think for the first time in his career???). Owen Savory (RPI fan 4 life) was quality. I wish I could make things more italic than normal italics. Super italics. 𝐼𝑇𝐴𝐿𝐼𝐶𝑆. Oh, Princeton also played in that game. Alex Riche (FlagDUDE08, MavHockey14) was the guy from them you wanted to pick.
RPI scored fewer goals on Saturday. It was not great. Brady Ferner (no one) was the only guy who scored. Bummer. Brogan Rafferty (no one) had two assists and also no one loves him.

Link back to the first post with details on scoring

Central New York! It's GORGEous (back to the italics thing again). It's time for the T E C H Y B O I S to take on Cornell (15-7-3) at Lynah and they apparently suck now, so we've got a shot. Also, Colgate (8-19-3) is also bad and we're playing them. I have so much unearned confidence that we're gonna take four points this weekend.

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday, February 22.

You may NOT choose the following players for this weekend:
RPI: Jacob Hayhurst, Ottoville Leppanen, and Will Reilly
Cornell: Morgan Barron, Mitch Vanderlaan, and Yanni Kaldis
Colgate: Bobby McMann, Josh McKechney, and Nick Austin
