Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Let’s get some points this weekend (and I don’t mean PtC points):

Tonight:
RPI- Owen (sweet and) Savory
Toothpaste- Adam Dauda

Tomorrow:
RPI- Kyle Hallbauer
SUNY Ithaca- Beau Starrett

Of course Savory is subject to change. I will change to Zieky if Marshall is in net. But I will make the change prior to 7 PM.

MavHockey14 is at it again with their third weekly win in a row, but FlagDUDE08 still has a grip on first overall.

It was a time for defensemen on Friday, as both teams were led from the blue line. Kyle Hallbauer (FlagDUDE08, MavHockey14) scored the game-winning goal for RPI, pushing the Engineers beyond the lone Colgate goal scored by Trevor Cosgrove (FlagDUDE08, Ralph Baer, MavHockey14). Owen Savory (engineerhockeyfan, RPI fan 4 life) was great in net and got the weekend off to a *quality* start.
Not a whole lot happened on Saturday, but RPI goal scorer Meirs Moore (no one) was a decent option. Mitch Vanderlaan (Ralph Baer, MavHockey14) scored the lone Cornell goal. Both goalies were ***quality***.

Stupid Beanpot. It's a short weekend as RPI takes the jaunt up to Hanover to take on Dartmouth (8-11-2). We could win this one too and keep the streak alive!

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday, February 8.

You may NOT choose the following players for this weekend:
RPI: Jacob Hayhurst, Ottoville Leppanen, and Will Reilly
Dartmouth: Drew O'Connor, Will Graber, and Connor Yau

Really? Take the trip up I-91 and go sometime. It's a nice one.

The only time the Pep Band went was my senior year and the same weekend as the GRE subject tests, and I just haven't had the opportunity to go since . I'm thinking that we might make the drive if we end up headed there in the first round (which is the most likely, but still not very likely, outcome right now).

I hadn't been to Brown either until earlier this season.

Oh yes, I remember that time, as that's when I went. It was a terrible game, you didn't miss much.

Congratulations to RPI fan 4 life on being the only one of us to earn more than one point. FlagDUDE08 maintains a tenuous lead over Ralph.

So many RPI players earned two points and we didn't pick any of them but Owen Savory (RPI fan 4 life). Good job us. Two more eligible Big Green skaters earned two points and again, we didn't pick any of them. Collin Rutherford and Jeffrey Losurdo are so disappointed in us.

It's time for the home weekend that should have been Freakout! Perhaps it's for the best, as we probably would have lost to Quinnipiac (21-6-1). Also there's a Friday game (7-14-2) that we could win maybe???

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday, February 15.

You may NOT choose the following players for this weekend:
RPI: Jacob Hayhurst, Ottoville Leppanen, and Will Reilly
Princeton: Ryan Kuffner, Max Véronneau, and Josh Teves
Quinnipiac: Odeen Tufto, Craig Martin, and Chase Priskie
