Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

Ralph Baer and engineerhockeyfan take the weekly bonus point (you know, like two weeks ago), but FlagDUDE08 takes over the first overall position.

We got beat by Yale pretty bad, but defenseman Brady Ferner (no one) would have been worth three points had we the wisdom to choose him. Across the ice, Justin Pearson (Ralph Baer) had himself a game, potting two and adding an assist for a sizeable 5 PtC night.
We also lost to Brown (but I went to Meehan for the first time, so that's cool). RPI only scored one goal, so obviously Brady Wiffen (FlagDUDE08) was the skater to pick. Owen Savory (RPI fan 4 life, engineerhockeyfan) did earn a quality start and I want to make sure to make you all know how great picking an RPI goalie is for your soul. I guess Joachim Weberg, Justin Jallen, and Gavin Nieto were also worth mentioning, but we didn't pick any of them. I feel like I'm saying that way more this season but I don't care nearly enough to go back and check.

I took my sweet ****ing time posting all this, but you do technically have as much notice as you always do for this thing. RPI will kick off the second half of the season in the not-a-tournament Catamount Cup, as they take on Northeastern (10-3-1) and Vermont (5-8-1). dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria, etc.

Maybe we'll win one?

Picks must be in by 4:00 ET on Friday, December 28.

You may NOT choose the following players for this weekend:
RPI: Jacob Hayhurst, Patrick Polino, and Will Reilly
Northeastern: Grant Jozefek, Tyler Madden, and Jeremy Davies
UVM: Liam Coughlin, Alex Esposito, and Jake Massie

Re: RPI Pick-to-Click 2018-19

So many games like right in a row every week. Crazy. Anyway, congratulations to engineerhockeyfan on his weekly win! Meanwhile, vizoroo has tied it back up at the top and leads on account of the arbitrary "fewer picks" tiebreaker.

We were so close. Unfortunately because of the ineligibility rules, the only RPI players worth anything were people with a single assist: Ottoville Leppanen (no), Ture Linden (no), and Todd Burgess (engineerhockeyfan). Wasn't that lovely. Across the ice, Zach Solow (RPI fan 4 life, vizoroo, engineerhockeyfan, Ralph Baer) ruined our lives with his OTGWG and also an assist.
Saturday was going great until that whole 3 PPG against in five minutes. Kyle Hallbauer (FlagDUDE08) led the Engineers with assists on both RPI goals. Also Owen Savory was real good, but no one picked him and Hallbauer was better. The Catamounts were championed by Max Kaufman (engineerhockeyfan (you're welcome)), whose two goals were instrumental in the win.

Time to get back to things that matter by taking on Harvard (5-4-2), and then immediately give up on that plan by hosting Army (8-10-1).

Picks must be in by 7:30 ET on Friday, January 4.

You may NOT choose the following players for this weekend:
RPI: Jacob Hayhurst, Patrick Polino, and Will Reilly
Harvard: Casey Dornbach, Jack Drury, and Adam Fox
