RPI Pick to Click 2017-18

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2017-18

Congratulations to FlagDUDE08 and RPI fan 4 life on their first weekly wins of the season! That allows RPI fan 4 life and engineerhockeyfan to jump ahead of Ralph for the overall lead.

Friday was bad. No RPI players were worth anything. Sheldon Rempal (ineligible) was obviously the MVP for Clarkson, but defenseman Kelly Summers (1-1–2; engineerhockeyfan, RPI fan 4 life) and goaltender Jake Kielly (shutout; FlagDUDE08) were each worth a five spot.
Will Reilly (lugnut92) put up two goals for the Engineers on Saturday, leading all skaters on the weekend. The stupid Saints were allowed to come back and score a last minute goal, which gave all three skaters involved another two PtC points. Ben Finkelstein (FlagDUDE08) and Nolan Gluchowski (no one) were the best options for SLU.

League play continues this week, as we'll all finally get a chance to see RPI's new home jerseys. First, the itty bitty kitties (relatively) of Quinnipiac (3-3-1) will hunt for their first league point on Friday night. Then RPI will face off with Princeton's fairly large kitties (1-1-1). Can RPI continue build a winning streak against feline opponents? Hopefully!

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday.

You may NOT choose the following players for this game:
RPI: Evan Tironese, Jacob Hayhurst, and Will Reilly
Quinnipiac: Odeen Tufto and Tanner MacMaster
Princeton: no one

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2017-18

Congratulations to ME (and also vizoroo I guess) for winning the week and also jumping into first overall!

To the surprise of no one, Viktor Liljegren (lugnut92) was RPI's best option, putting up a natural hat trick to tie, win, and put away the game on Friday night. He's pretty great and so am I. Quinnipiac was led by defenseman Chase Priskie (no one), who earned a goal and an assist for the Bobcats as they lost in embarrassing fashion.
Saturday didn't go nearly as well, so Jared Wilson (FlagDUDE08) was able to lead RPI with a single goal. Thirteen Princeton players (note that I didn't say skaters) got on the scoresheet, with three of them earning five PtC points: forward Eric Robinson (2-1–3; vizoroo), defenseman Josh Teves (1-1–2; no one), and goaltender Ryan Ferland (0-1–1, QS; no one).
