RPI sits in a tie for 3rd place in the ECAC standings with three points in three games. This weekend, they take on the pair from central NY, each of whom defeated Princeton but fell to Quinnipiac.

First comes the showdown with the Big Red (man, they just can't get away from those color-named teams) on Friday. Cornell comes in with a 3-1-0 overall record, having swept UNO in their first weekend of play.

Colgate follows on Saturday night. They opened their season 2-1-1, but went on a 4-game skid before breaking it against the Tigers.

You may not choose the following players for this game:
RPI - Ryan Haggerty (don't look now, but Luke Curadi is the leading defenseman at 4 points)
Cornell - John McCarron
Colgate - Mike Borkowski

Also, how can a defensive player with a goal have 4 points? I thought it was 3 for a goal, 2 for an assist, and he scored a goal. Or was that taken back again?

He has 4 hockey points. 1 goal, 3 assists. No other RPI defenseman has more than 3 points, therefore he is the leading defenseman and if he scores another point, he'll be ineligible. That's all I was saying.

Ed Weaver's article states that Bubela has a lower body injury and may not play. Then again he might. :)
