Re: RPI Offseason Part II: Mindless Drivel.

I'll reserve my opinion on left-hand/right-hand till Dr.D (& maybe Miss Jenny) can give us some medical data on this subject :). Couldn't agree with you more RB.....jericho's title has proven to be most appropriate this summer.

Re: RPI Offseason Part II: Mindless Drivel.

Perhaps Jericho should be the permanant thread-title namer. He did a great job with this one. :D

When I first suggested it, I do remember being shot down. I had to wait and see if no one else started the new thread so everyone would be stuck with it. I love to be proven right..........BTW, I was at the Welcome Freshman barbecue last week (as a returning alum, only member of the Class of 2003 to go, come on guys!) and I tried to talk and network with some of the incoming freshman, but they were to preoccupied with Twitter, etc...Almost everyone that I saw and tried to talk with looked like Napoleon Dynamite.

Re: RPI Offseason Part II: Mindless Drivel.

Forgot to mention this at the time...I ended up winning a pair of all-session passes to the ECAC Finals in Lake Placid through the raffle at the golf outing.

I said to Coach after winning them that now the team has to make it. His response? "Oh, we'll be there!"
...Can't wait! :D

Love that confidence. Reminds me of way back in December 1984 at the HFH during the Invitaional Tournament. After the first night, when we destroyed University of Miami 9-1, Jen and I went over to coach Addesa to congratulate him-and told him we already had our tickets for March at Joe Louis Arena for the NCAA semifianls and finals. He simply answered that the team would all be there and asked where we were going to celebrate after the finals. Considering that the team was 7-2 at the time and still had most of the schedule left to play-it kind of seemed a bit over confident. But we did not lose another game all season after that.:)

In honor of Ryan Haggerty, today is 27 August 2013. There are 39 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 5 October 2013 for the start of next season.
