RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part III: BYOB: Bring Your Own Bratwurst

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part III: BYOB: Bring Your Own Bratwurst

Good work on the pole. Qestion: Why does voting close two days after the event date? Sounds like a Russian election...:p

It doesn't give me a date to close, only the number of days to keep it open. Perhaps I need to spend two minutes in the box for a bench minor? ;)

By buying season tickets. How else?

Actually, RPISPORT-L even noted this lack of e-mail.

Yeah, never got an email or phone call. But my tickets did arrive in mail today so its all good.

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part III: BYOB: Bring Your Own Bratwurst

In honor of Matt Neal and Missy Mankey, today is 27 September 2012. There are 9 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 6 October for the start of next season.

That is the day that an exhibition game is scheduled.

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part III: BYOB: Bring Your Own Bratwurst

Anyone have any ideas for the first in-season thread title?

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part III: BYOB: Bring Your Own Bratwurst

Does anyone have an estimate of how many of us are going to be there? REDaero91 and I are making some sort of dessert but I want to know how much to make ahead of time.
I wouldn't fret about the number of attendees; whatever you bring will be either eaten or n not (my hope is that there will be as many folks as last year that as people show up and bring stuff, those dishes will take the place of the already consumed dishes...thank you so much for bringing a dessert! :) I will bring paper plates and cups, a garbage bag for refuse and all the other accoutrements...Troy Boy and Aspy bring the table. I plan on being there around 2pm or 3pm (depending on what time the Hubster departs). Gonna' need a good belt of high octane beverage and a good hockey game by that time!

Did you fill in the email address box on the form? Was it legible? :p (Sorry, have to ask)...In any event, you're one up on me...no tix yet.

In addition to some smoked/bbq items, I'll have some paper goods and some sort of a table and some adult beverages, assuming Campus Security allows me to discreetly consume one inside a red solo cup -- if they don't, I may need someone to post bail for me. I'm planning on taking the afternoon off, so I should easily be there by 2-3Pm

Outstanding. The adult beverage thing should be no porblem; Jim Knowlton breezed through in the early going and, clearly, the red solo cups, along with the bottles of their soon-to-be contents, were visible...I just didn't want to tempt fate by offering him any

Plus they let the kids and parents of the football team tailgate with adult beverages not even in red solo cups before their games in the parking lots so they should not bother us!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Zach Schroeder #7?

You're correct...It looks like we don't have a number 8 this year. Although Mike Bergin is still wearing it in Sweden...
