Curadi vs. Rabbani... who would win?
I'ld pick Josh. Because of the size Josh is more eye-to-eye giving him the advantage, whereas Luke is always much taller therefore negating his size. If I'm going to get hit by any of them though I'ld pick D-Bold :D

Assuming that Diebold doesn't have his goalie stick. ;)

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012: An Off-Season to Be Optimistic

Just curious what some thoughts were on alternate (3rd) jerseys. Quite a few other schools use them, QU and UC come to mind in the ECAC, should RPI come out with their own version of an alternate jersey? I know we already have Black Friday, I just thought it would be neat to have the option of using a different style thoughout the entire season. It could even be used to gain a "mental" advantage, similar to what Union did to RPI in playoffs, forcing us to wear our home whites, while they used their alternate black jersey.

As for a design, I was thinking of a gray colored jersey with red and black stripping, identical to the current home/road style. Id love to see puckman return to the jersey in some way but since he seems to be a thing of the past, I would use the school seal (currently used as a shoulder logo) as the primary logo and have the diagonal RPI logo on each shoulder. On the back, I think white lettering outlined in black would look sharp, maybe remove the name plate and just use a number.

I still would like to bring back Puckman. BTW, wasn't the school seal on the front of one of the Black Friday jerseys?

I have heard that Appert isn't the largest fan of Puckman and that's why he is no longer on jerseys. Our practice jerseys currently use the seal as the primary logo, but I don't think that means it couldn't be used on the third jersey as well.

Third jerseys are dumb unless you're tying it with a specific promotion (which is why it works for Black Friday, as well as when they did Pink at the Rink despite the hideous design). Let's stick with what we have, but also take off the nameplates to give our team a better advantage. Less heckling the players (especially the goaltender).

In my opinion, third jerseys have served another purpose. They got rid of the Buffaslug.

That alone is enough to warrant third jerseys being praised as a glorious and wonderful.

Dumping Donald Trump's hair is quite important (although there's still remnants of it, such as the gift shop at the 100-level seating entrance at the *** Center). However, what are you trying to change with RPI? ;)

I believe so, cant remember which year though...

I agree on puckman, perhaps someone with some artistic talent could design a new and improved puckman logo, maybe a more modern three dimensional look with some added muscle. :D

Maybe the EMACs can come up with something. :p
