Good thing the biggest argument we had between fans at the game was who scored our first goal. There was no deflection whatsoever, it was a straight one-timer from Curadi.

Just got home from the game, few comments. Great to see a large group of us RPI fans at the game. Good to see my buddies AspyDad and Troyboy. Nice to meet DavidSec17 and talk a little bit of golf with him between periods. What a great come from behind win for the team tonight. Next weekend will be insane all over the league. Ok enough for now need some sleep. Go Red.

According to the boxscore in the TU article, it looks like we won 5-0. :)

BTW, what is an Indirect Roughing penalty?

2 overtime wins in the last 2 roadtrips. This one with 10 seconds left? Can you begin to spell-DESTINY

uhhh d e s t i n y. You guys beat us I thought the last half of the game, a big team that can skate...not like Cornell. A good game to watch, to bad someone had to lose. GL going forward.

For DrD's benefit:

994! WE WANT MORE!

BTW, with that loss to Cornell, if we were to sweep this weekend, we could coincide the 1000th win with an ECAC championship.

Dude-I have been anxiously awaiting number 1000 for a long time. I honestly had though a few years ago we were going to see it in 2009-2011. But things just did not work out that way. Besides, i was using several different lists to arrive at how many wins we had. Now i simply go by what Kurt has listed on his site or what WaP had listed earlier this year. In older yearbooks the numbers do not quite coincide. If by some chance we do not get a bye-we have a better chance to reach the magic number this year but i obviously would much prefer the bye. It is just hard for me to imagine that it has been 20 years since we last finished second in the ECAC and 28 years since grabbing the top spot.

Actually 16 since RatingsPI is the tie breaker.

I wonder where we would stand if we did not draw Mr Kotyra for the non league game at the TUC?;) Could we have lost anyway?-Sure. Would any other ref make that kind of call so late in the third period? Yeah-Mike Noeth or Pierre Belanger:mad:

If we get swept and don't back into the first round bye, we can get to 1000 with an ECAC championship. A tie and loss can do it as well. A true split (i.e. two ties) would mean we'd have to coincide it with winning a trip to the Frozen Four assuming we win the ECAC championship, any other possibilities and all bets are off on when it happens. It could be this year; it could be next year. However, let's focus on getting #995 first.
