Yes I know the rule but was wondering if there was an article I had missed that made it public knowledge and I see JC posted Weavers from yesterday. I'm also surprised FD08 didn't pick up on the tweet one of the players made to use as an example for Babo. Could be taken as if they were referring to an injury. Though it is best for all of us I guess that he did not and I am glad they put the argument to bed. :D

FlagDUDE08's internet rule #2: I will never join Twitter.

"This is quite a list, except for the suspended players, all the others are important players to this team."

You do not think all the players are important to the team?

"The guys on the ice are going to have to show that they can go for 60/65 minutes at their highest level."

Is this not true every game? It is not like we can take a guy from the stands and insert him into the game in between periods if one of the guys gets tired. :D

"This changes all expectations for the results this weekend." Sounds like you only have faith in the team if certain players are in the line up. :(

More of like we're not so sure about our success while we're shorthanded.

I have faith in all the players on the team. I also know that not all of the players bring the same talent level to the ice. If we do not have our most talented players in
a game, our chances are not the same as they would be with our most talented players on the ice.
If you don't understand the playing 60/65 minutes, then you have not been paying attention to this teams performance in the ECACHL this year.

Heisenberg has Koudys going to Penn State

Koudys (Penn State/Muskegon-USHL)

Forget the ECACHL, it's been also happening in non-league play. How quickly we forget the Mankato series, or even our 3-0 lead two weeks ago against Mercyhurst...

I'd rather see cohesive lines that work well together. I'm glad to see NHL will still be playing (at least none of their names were mentioned by JCrawford), and it looks like our energy line from the Mercyhurst series (Fulton, O'Grady, Greg B) will see all players still there (not sure if they'll stay together) and they did combine for a goal during the last series, not to mention TF has REALLY made the most of the ice time he earned since the Harvard game.

That's a near sight better than any of the other four schools I heard him linked to. Good pickup for the Nittany Lions, great kid with good talent and thankfully he probably won't be back to haunt us in the future, which means we can keep rooting for him. There really wasn't any bad blood between him and the school (or the fans) when he left, AFAICT.

Not surprised -- PSU was the target along...that I was told. Gadowsky likes to play an uptempo offensive style, which is said to be what PK is looking for. As RC said, good that we won't face him in league-- wish Pat the best of luck.

When's the last time we won a game when we started without a full complement of players dressed?

Like this happens with great enough frequency or notability to be able to check.

Re: RPI Hockey 2012-2013 Part II: You Better Starting Posting the Engineer Way

It certainly happened many times under Harkness. :)

Actually, come to think of it, this is the second time I've seen it happen under Appert; the first being Harvard. At least he isn't pulling a Gene Hackman from the movie "Hoosiers" this time around.

He also will be playing there with his former D-partner at Burlington, Luke Juha.

Are you changing your question? It was originally when was the last time that we won with a short bench.

Re: RPI Hockey 2012-2013 Part II: You Better Starting Posting the Engineer Way

It was originally that. It just wasn't clear to the constituency.

Given the roster attrition, the only relevant questions are who Appert will select as C.O.W. (Captain of the Week) and who will start in net.
