Re: RPI Hockey 2012-2013 Part 1: Pocket Protectors and Hockey Sticks

Now you're talking! Jen and i have been celebrating good RPI weekends with high quality ETOH for years-now we have been using the same stuff to forget the bad weekends. Last weekend-necessitated bringing out some stuff we had saved for years.;)

While in NYC during the work week, I tend to associate with a number of Russians / Eastern Europeans - infused vodka has become an absolute favorite. Have my own infusion at home that I was going to save for the holidays, but may need to take a hard dip this weekend....

Vodka is a lovely spirit. My Russian grandfather used to brush his teeth with it every morning. I always thought that to be a tad odd. But medical research has shown an incredible decrease in gum disease and dental disease in people who do that. Great stuff-enjoy!!!

You can always count on the RPI thread to get to the bottom of the important issues.

Having been working the night shift for the past week or so and having been busy with my volleyball leagues the week before, I haven't had the chance to listen to any games since the Minnesota State series, so I don't have much to add to the discussion of the team's woes. All I can say is that I hope that they can get back on track with at least three points over Mercyhurst.

Looking forward to two wins this weekend

Honestly, after what happened last Saturday, I don't think that the coach will accept anything less than two wins.
If this team isn't jacked up this weekend, it will be hard to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Is it a light or an oncoming train

B12-I was also quite fortunate to either be without power and internet or just away from the WRPI feed so that I did not have to endure most of it. If this team does not absolute come out angry and flying this weekend, then we have grossly misjudged what we have. After a high colonic enema like they just got-you usually get going pretty well.
