Re: RPI Hockey 2012-2013 Part 1: Pocket Protectors and Hockey Sticks

Ken Schott contemplates on the fate of Boardwalk Hall due to Sandy: http://www.dailygazette.com/weblogs...ane-sandy-could-affect-marchs-ecac-hockey-ch/
Seeing as how the Hall's roof was leaking during mild storms in the past, I don't have a lot of faith in the old girl...I justt read a news report that stated 80 % of the city was underwater and that there was thigh deep water inside the convention center.

I thought Hagwell's " ...Speaking of contingency plans, we don't have any..." comment pretty well sums up his tenure. :p

FWIW - the Devils will be in the middle of a road trip Mar. 22-23 (at Binghamton & 'Cuse), and Siena's season will be done in the building by then...so the TUC could conceivably host. Unless AC-DC or the WWE is coming to town...:p

However Atlantic City could use a good cleaning.

I agree with EHF and hope that DrD is OK.

It is spelled "polls"? Please take more care in your posting. Troyboy and I frown upon errors.

Could it be "pohls"? Please take more care in learning USCHO memes. I frown upon ignorance.

My boy and his favorite hockey player made the RPI Athletics home page. :D Thanks to RPIHFH for spotting it first.

8 ECAC teams get votes. Clarkson, RPI, Brown, and Princeton got none. Ain't right.

Re: RPI Hockey 2012-2013 Part 1: Pocket Protectors and Hockey Sticks

You have less than 27 hours to get your picks in or revise your picks to the ECAC Pick The Standings 2012-2013 thread. Remember 7PM Friday is the deadline.

Ken Schott speaks to RPI and #26 players whose families were affected by Sandy. http://www.dailygazette.com/videos/2012/nov/01/1197/ (Lee, Burgdoerfer, and Haggerty of RPI) Not much actually in all three cases as well as for 3 players for #26.
Gave Ken s**t...I weathered this mofo solo with high winds and one tree/many large limbs down...and did a good amount of the clean up myself on 2 acres (until my spine dictated that a crew would do a better job...)...but NOOOO inclusion of the BIG red-headed step child in the interviews...hahhaha! Ken's a good sport...

I had noticed his absence. I figured that Schott envied his head of hair. ;)
