I’m not mad at that. Where do you think he slots in 2nd/3rd line or more a 4th liner? I like how we’re tapping into the USHL for last two recruits. Still lots of talent in the league.

I have no clue but we sure have an abundance of left wingers or at least left shots up front. Be interesting to see where everyone fits in.
It's tough to say because we have a lot of guys capable for those spots. He's probably around the same level as someone like Scherzer or Tapper and maybe slightly below Hadland, but with the depth of this team, I'm not sure if that puts him on the 3rd line or 4th line. It'll be fascinating to see who ends up in what roles

Sez- If he gets any bigger, he might not have to skate more than a few feet in any direction to block the entire defensive zone! Obviously said tongue in cheek - but we were in Buffalo for the draft and could not believe how big these kids have gotten. I am a just about 6' and 175 and most of these kids made it look like I was a Mini Cooper standing next to a Lincoln Navigator. It is not just their height but many of these kids are just broad and solid. Obviously we could not see how well they skate but their size alone was super impressive.
Also noted, just about all of the kids came looking like they stepped out of GQ magazine with great well dressed families and some of the best looking hockey moms I have ever seen (even Jenny had to admit it).

Goukler had a two game cup of coffee with the USNDTP U-18s in 2023....skating with a roster that included the law firm of Hagens, Hutson & Stiga......lol.
He had a goal vs. Cornell .... I like him already! All accounts are the kid has legit breakaway speed, which should be fun to see racing down the ice at HFH !!

Sitar, Rullers, Smith, Scherzer, Lodewyk, Bono, Lindberg, and McNeil can all play center. I think Yurchuk might have played center in junior too. Lang likes to recruit a lot of centers to have some versatility there, so there's plenty of options. Opposite wing is a lot easier. Hadland has played on his off side a lot in junior, and I'd imagine a lot of the LWs are capable of it. One thing I really like about our depth is that we should be able to survive the inevitable injuries that pop up.

Pat Hahn and Dino Serra were the stars of the team that got me hooked on RPI hockey. From that point on I think I was destined to enroll in nearby Troy. RIP Pat.Pat Hahn (RPI '77) passed away.
