RPI 2024 Off-Season: Was 2023 – 2024 Just a Bad Dream?

Good for him. After a really solid freshman season I had great expectations for his career at RPI. IIRC he and Owen Savory were the first two pandemic transfers - and who could blame them when they weren't even allowed to practice or work out for the year. Given the additional Shirley limitations, I wonder how many of the other transfers would have bailed earlier if they'd known they were looking at two full years before playing close to a normal season.

Liberty League lacrosse championship goes to RPI. They beat RIT, 15-14.

Engineers scored the tying goal with 1:06 to play and the game-winner with 3 seconds to play.

If things couldn’t get any more bizarre with RPI hockey rumors are women’s assistant coach Ben Murphy heading to Dartmouth joining Reid Cashman’s staff. I guess we didn’t need him on the mens side? We have better assistants on the women’s side then men’s side apparently lol

I don't read too much into these comings and goings--there are limited positions and the pay can vary widely so it is not surprising to see a lot of turnover.
