RPI 2023-24: In Our 200th Year, We're Getting It Right

Agree. With all of the non-conference contests, we should be battled tested and ready for league play. Time will tell....

As to whether Seth was a very good coach, I am not convinced. Part of his initial success was probably due to a certain assistant who has also coached in the NHL. I also note that you wrote "very good" and not "great". IMO, very good may be correct; great is not.

Spot on! The nest 2 weekends will have to be the turning pint for us. We have what should be some winnable games and league play simply cannot be anything like the horror schedule of the first 10 games. We still need work - special teams and defense are key as they have been all season. I am looking forward to the remainder of the season and expecting some excitin g play from our boys.

We may have been sitting next to each other back then! That was my first season at RPI hockey games also.

Point well taken SA's W-L pct was .417 the present coaches is .384 Seth got fired I'll let you do that math !

Did anyone hear this? I didn't see the posting until after it would have started, immediately brought up the page at 10:37 and she was apparently already done. I listened to several minutes of ads only to find out they had already moved on to talking about Bill Belichick for a couple of additional minutes. Then another barrage of ads. How does anyone even listen to that show?

I was on at 10:34 and also didn't catch anything. Either it was the quickest interview of all time or it didn't happen.

I of course was called into a meeting and not able to listen! It would not be the first time Rodger had a featured guest not appear. I dunno what happened.
 
We've got a 5 win team and a lineup short on talent tonight. Can't understand why Gofreddo who displays some talent and scored a goal we desperately needed wasn't on the ice when we needed a goal with an extra man. Kid should've been rewarded in my opinion. McNeil too. Makes little plays all over the ice.

I have to admit we played about the best I have seen this year during that short stretch with the extra attacker. Could have gotten one with any sort of luck. Usually in those situations we lose the face off, the opponent clears the zone easily and scores in the empty net. The boys show a lot of determination and grit but needed that kind of effort earlier.

Gofreddo has some talent. He can really fire the puck. Reminds me of smolinski a lot. I can’t understand have the shit that goes on with this team. They played hard I will say especially if theirs an illness in the lineup. Miller played great in net last night

The extra attacker play was great. Had they played more like that we would have won. Miller played a solid game as well. Put the team in a position to win.
