We seem to be recruiting players who are winners. Not a bad idea. Schroeder won the state championship today and Melanson will be going for one tomorrow. All of our Canadian recruits are still involved in the playoffs. The USHL, of course, still has a while to go.

We have been asked to go to the game tomorrow. Not sure yet if we will but if we do will definitely be looking out for #27

Wicked-then I hope he allows the incoming freshman to have lots of ice time and a chance to fit in quickly. We have a lot of potential scoring coming-we may need to find out rather quickly if they can adjust to the NCAA and produce.

Got to see Delbarton win today in OT 3-2. Our recruit Drew Melanson played well and got an assist on the winning goal in OT. Had the experience of sitting among a number of NHL scouts. They were looking at various members of the Delbarton team. McMullen (going to BC next year) is a star. Another player going to Yale (name starts with a B) is also a hot property. But we are in good company signing a member from this team. They were by far the better team and only a special performance by the St Augustine goalie kept this one close.

Why wouldn't he? Higgs, Rogic, Dolan, Koudys and Leboeuf all had strong contributions this year...I guess I don't understand why he would suddenly not give JL, Neal and the others the same opportunities?

Article about Cornwall's game on Sunday, mainly about how they beat Kanata's gaolie who saved 61 of 62 shots the previous game http://www.standard-freeholder.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=3024374. At least JL didn't appear to be involved. BTW, Borkowski is a Colgate recruit.
