I think we could easily substitute UVM, Maine and UNH for Cornell/SLU/CCT as far as the potential for difficult winter travel..ditto for ND. Traveling to UVM on the east side of Lk. Champlain from Troy, the majority of the trip is hilly two lane road....and they do get lake effect snows.

RPI has 7 Dmen on their roster. 1 is not dressing tonight, LC. I guess the coach does not buy into all the over the top bs posted on here and is running his team based upon the best players dress mode . Ralph, the only D sitting in the stands is not considerd an upgrade.

Your opinion, not mine. Although I could be wrong I suspect that SA will dress every healthy body for at least one game this weekend.

Kennedy played in 26 of 38 games as a freshman and scored 0 points. Although I do not consdier getting points either his or Curadi's primary duty, I expect Curadi to beat that this season.

SA believes in playing experienced players. Last year he rotated the 3 freshman with one in the stands most nights.

It is not yours, it is not mine. It is called coaches decision. He put his top 6(out of 7) D on the ice. To try and give the team the best chance to win.

You are truly a sad man that you would come on this board and delight in a 20 year something young man not dressing. That speaks volumes of who you are and what you represent. Let me remind you that Luke was a critical part of the Clark Cup Champions DBQFS. He was recruited by one of the great hockey man in this country... Monty. Pat Koudys sat several times last year and was drafted by the Caps. I don't believe in silencing people and I will not email the moderator but you have sunk to a new low. Do you have children... I do. Would you want someone to come on and disparage your children. Let the hate go... it is tearing you up. Change your life. Whatever higher power you subscribe to would not condone this vile that you spew. Knock it off and move along. I will pray that you let go of these inner demons.

Great effort tonight. Working the kinks out. Diebold is a great technical goalie. You can tell he saw some serious rubber in the USHL. The PP had some problems but it is early. I hope that Coach puts another skill player on the forward line w JL and Higgs. I love Matt and think he brings a physical presence that is unmatched but he does not compliment JL and Higgs on PP. In the second half SA put Haggs on PP and that seemed to click. Let's get them Sat. Go Red!!!

Something definitely has to happen on the PP. I will be travelling to tomorrow's game with an extra ticket in tow. On the library side, though, so to the posters that sit in section 9... my apologies for any cheers I let out.

Get off your soap box, No problem putting down Kennedy from last years team and telling us all of his flaws and how the 7th dman, who doesnt even dress is an improvement. Couldnt think of a bigger diss to a player.
Now because Koudy set a couple games last year it puts him in his catagory? I think you folks already beat up the nhl stuff and that was proven all bs as well. They only have 7 D at RPI, one is not dressing even though you guys constantly talk about other teams being scared and crazy stuff, none of which factors into college hockey, with cages etc. zero factor.

No anger just cant stand the manipulation. that is what has to stop. Never saw one positive word from you and your pals about leonard and his abilities. Did though see "lines" keep getting posted always with LC in and others sitting. Do their parents feelings count?.

I've got an idea: how about you stop trying to persuade us how much our team sucks? Clearly you don't like RPI, and that is fine. Discuss that in other threads. Doing it here is going to change no one's opinion. Being a fan of a team is rooting for and analyzing your own, not putting down the likes of others.

Granted, I'm speaking for myself here, but I'm sure a lot of others here have the same sentiments.

Anywho, onto other topics, like tonight's game: I liked our defense, it was strong and well-executed, but that's all we played! Same with Mankato. It was defense vs. defense. We seriously need to start working on our power play -- 11 chances is a lot to let go without capitalizing on any of them.

Let me jump in with two comments concerning Hoky<fill in the blank> and the 'opinions' that float on this board and others:
1) Hoky<?> has spilled more crap than I care to recount. In order to have an opinion, there will have to be direct references to players by name. So, he'll surely continue to do it if you continue to encourage him to do so. IMO, he has little better to do than monitor players' junior seasons and how those infamous second assists appear. My guess is that he still lives at his parents in the basement.:D
2) No hockey parent, which includes me, like to hear the 'wisdom' on just how crappy my son played or why he was the reason the team lost. I've had my kid 'play' the first half of his freshman season in his suit and tie and then read the gloom and doom when he played. Hurts like hell...but it's part of the drill. There is no such thing as a deaf ear but there is a thing called 'ignore' on these boards.
