Up to him....perhaps up to $5 per taker? The problem would be who would be guarantor. Though I suppose we would be breaking one of the 150,000 or so federal laws if we actually were to try to implement something truly tangible through the auspices of this website.

I'm sorry I don't know all the people well enough, it is my understanding that we do have the proprietor of a food and drink emporium as a regular member, and those places often are used as guarantors to settle such tangible differences of opinion. That is how the Guinness Book of World Records got its start, after all, as a reference book used to settle arguments in bars....

Whatever means you use, you still would need someone to bet against. Most of the regular posters in this thread would say above 9th.

No problem , Fresh Fish, a name given after standing close to his mother during first day of school

Union will have 5 more wins minimum and will finish top 3 ECAC and make NCAA tourn.
RPI will finish 5th-8th, not make ncaa

The question was, what will be the spread between Union's regular season finish, and RPI's, and your answer was "anywhere from 7 to 2." Kind of hard to bet on that. Can you narrow the range a little? Perhaps to one specific number?

Even those down in the dumps get a hit now and again. ;) But in all seriousness, jm, give it a try. Put someone on the ignore list and see what happens to their posts. It will give you an option to not only read that specific post, but also to remove them from the ignore list.

I'm perfectly fine with math. I (along with DrD) post it as a joke, because there are some posters on this forum that do not take kindly to math.
