Please, please, please ignore Hokeydope. You are only egging him on and the conversation is getting really boring. Congrats to AD on the addition to his family. Lines that were given many posts ago look good. Hope the boys have been practicing on face offs, because we lose far too many of them. Looking forward to seeing the new boys and what they can do.

We also get thrown out of our fair share. I fully expect Joel Malchuk to continue his stepping up in that statistic. Obviously we lose Polacek, and hopefully Brock Higgs will be able to step up. Has Rogic improved?

FWIW, I am not commenting on anybody's OOC schedule after looking @ ours.

Thanks, i made this account a long time ago but forgot the password for awhile and before too long forgot about it period. I probly wont be around too much but ill pipe in when i can. I have the feeling if the goalie situation is resolved this could be a very exciting season on RPI hockey, GO RED!!

I'm an old timer. Would not suggest any of the newer medications. I would stick with Thorazine or Stelazine or perhaps Haldol. All were used very effectively during my residency. Nowadays there is a big push for treating those out of touch with reality with the serotonin uptake inhibiotrs but I still believe you go after the real sick ones with the atomic bombs of medications. Troyboy-yes you have picked up a lot. Between you and Aspy we really have picked up the level of our threads. This season is going to be lots of fun.

Give some to the preseason ECAC poll takers that the league just put out. They have RPI finishuing 5th, same as last year

No Idea what the lines will be for saturday,but I suspect Malchuck will see a lot of time @ the center position.

Brandon Pirri has scored 2 goals tonight, having a good game tonight and a nice camp for the Hawks.

Thanks to one of the best of the posters from an opposing team. Would not count on us going anywhere just yet. There is just too much riding on these decions for them to be made in haste. I am sure coach SA and those that count at RPI are carefully weighing all the ramifications. We on the board only think we know what the advantages and disadvantages of a move to HE are. This may not be an open and shut kind of decision.

Here's how I look @ this....with all thats going on in college hockey realignment wise the question is 1,2,3 years down the road will there be an ECACHL...with the way It is managed and the lack of a TV contract that IMO is very questionable...if that happens what wiil our options be then !!!...if in fact a chance to move to a better league w/a TV contract presents itself(that's still a big IF) my feeling is that we should pounce on it opportunity doesn't always knock twice...NCAA Hockey like its counterparts BBall & Football is slowly becoming a buisness whether we like it or not thats the facts of the matter....the smart money is out in front of this trend because buisness is buisness....this very well COULD be a classic case of IF YOU SNOOZE...YOU LOSE....after all when all the emotions of who we assosiate ourselves with on the ice subsides isn't the ultimate goal the long term viability of our program...JMO
