Last year, the RPI band / contingent was in the corner closest to where you enter the arena on the same side as the benches (not the penalty boxes) (I guess that maybe that's Sections 25/26? I'm not sure. Double check this info.). Lugnut would probably have the best info on where the RPI seats should be this season.

The promenade seemed OK for standing room, but I can't remember if the ushers will be insistent on seats (like Niagara). I know, it seems a bit odd that I've only been to one hockey game at that arena despite being 30 miles away from it for most of my life.

The upper seating section was where I was last year with a couple friends and it had some great views. It looked a bit sketchy getting up there for the matinee game because most of the stairs were blocked / roped off, but I did see a couple ushers up there and none of them said anything to us.

Was up there last weekend for a tournament. There is not a bad seat in the '80 arena. What a great place to watch hockey. Wish I could join everyone this weekend but Boston to Lake Placid 3 weekends in a row is just too much. Sorry about that AD... guess we have to push our airing of grievances and feats of strength out to next year. If they have an aluminum pole up someone take a picture please.

Very glad to hear that the games will be on the web. Hope that we see a good game. Cheers.

When I was elected conductor, our previous conductor told me to start practicing saying the most important words for a conductor to know (Silly me, thinking they were "Trumpets! One, Two!"). The words are as useful here as anywhere: Ask the managers.

Funny, I was always told byy my non-management major friends that it was "ask the Engineers." ;)

You know what, I think I will recommend "Is That Goal Regulation Size or What?!", or some take on that. Too many missed open nets.
