I suspect that they did write a story. Just whoever was supposed to put yesterday's paper on line didn't do it. I guess that since I don't subscribe to the SF, I have no grounds to complain, but I do so anyway. :D

We'll see what happens at 8 AM today.

Based on the crappy, "Oh, by the way the Colts won two games and Laliberte now has 50" article they posted, I'm guessing Hambleton wrote the story last night on his Blackberry while driving back from a weekend at the casino.:mad: :p

Congrats to Nolan Graham ('03) and the entire Alberni Valley organization - with their win over Quesnel they have set the franchise record for wins (44) with two RS games left to play.

Between the Curadi connection in Penticton and the Graham & Vines connection in Alberni, I really hope we can start mining these programs for some future recruits.:p

FWIW -- According to NHL CSB, Penticton (BCHL) retains its grip on #3 spot in the CJHL.
Brock Higgs' Kingston Voyageurs (OJAHL) are close behind at #4.
Patrick Koudys' Burlington Cougars (CCHL) come in at #18.

Wrong. You forgot Zarbo and Beauregard. Bergin was granted a medical redshirt for his injury last year so he has two left following this season.

As has been mentioned here often before, Bailen will not be a freshman -- on the ice or off of it.

Actually Bergin will have soph eligibilty.

I agree completely that Bailen will be far from a freshman.

Zarbo is a senior but he has another year of eligibility if he wants to use it.

Some older news, while reading through USHR, I noticed we were in the running for Cristoval "Boo" Nieves. A 6'2" 180lb LC for the Syracuse Nationals U-16 Team. Nieves committed to Michigan for '12, other schools in the picture were Vermont, Colgate, UNH, and RPI.

Im guessing RPI was trying to get him to come in 2011.
