His elbow is high enough it might clip me on the side of the head-and might miss Ralph completely:eek:

Definitely could. The only problem is that I can't skate, so I would be lying on the ice anyway. :)

Still no write up of Cornwall's Sat. afternoon game on the S-F website...whenever you get around to it is fine guys...really.

I'm beginning to think that the S-F reporters are members of the UAW. :p

Not there yet.

Maybe they are out of business. I know that they don't celebrate Presidents Day there. :)

Ralph - I keep looking at the block of player stats and the numbers that Toni Sanders is throwing up. Holy smokes !! She's got 26 goals and 45 points playing on a boys high school team and 93 pts in 44 total games. Wow.

She has very good stats, but I suspect that the competiton is quite weak. I noted that her U19 team was playing the Troy Albany Ice Cats over the weekend. Then when I checked the schedule, it turn out it was the Ice Cats U16 team. She did play well in the HNIB tourney last year, so she has talent, but it might take a while to develop.

Re: RPI 2010 Recruiting III: Monty's Quest for the Holy Grail

On Sunday, the Orangeville Crushers lost to the Streetsville Derbys 3-1. They trail in the best-of-seven playoff series 3-0. Nick Quinn did not dress. http://cchl.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=1224220

Quinn's playoff line is 0-0-0-0-0.
His total line is now 37-7-13-20-26.

The Quinn mystery continues...Illness? Injury? Healthy scratch? Has he left the team? Only the shadow knows....

Too bad there doesn't appear to be an Orangeville newspaper, and there is nothing on the team website..

A sea of nothingness in Orangeville...I can't seem to even find the presence of a blog, Twitter , nada. Wow, I guess Al Gore needs to swoop in on his G5 and bring his internet concept to O'ville. :p

I've gotta think Quinn is ill or nursing an injury. If not, Appert & Co. have to be scratching their heads...especially given the interruption Nick had in his season with his father's sudden exit from Dixie.

In any event, it may soon be a moot point, with the 3-0 series deficit.

www.orangeville.com is all I can find. It seems to have articles on the team and other orangeville area sports.

I guess I am spoiled after seeing how good coverage can be with the Vees Blog, with their game highlights, Coach's Corner, player aticles, etc. The last CC featured Harbison and about 5-6 local reporters.

I dare say many college teams would love to have that caliber of coverage and exposure.

I would say that Penticton has the most information about the team on their website of any of the teams that any of our recruits have played for (either this year or in the past). The local newspaper coverage is better than average also. Of all the kidding we do about the SF, it has more stories.

The S-F is just so amazed at JL and his 51 goals that they couldnt compose themselves to publish a story....:D
