Re: RPI 2010 Recruiting III: Monty's Quest for the Holy Grail

Maybe we shouldn't have a Part IV of this thread and just use to Off Season threads until next fall. There won't be that many more game summaries to report on which is the main reason that I started separate recruit threads.

Make it happen.

Happy that you liked it. :)

I want predictions: put your cards on the table boys...give me your drop dead call on which recruits suit up for 2010-11...I know many of you can read 'tea leaves' so much better than me and I am dying to hear...no if's, then's or therefore's...

I'm going to say all but Luke and Koudys. I'm the optimist, since someone has to be around here (coughRALPHSANEEYOREcough).

My current best guess agrees with yours except that I expect more players still.

Re: RPI 2010 Recruiting III: Monty's Quest for the Holy Grail

I mostly agree with both of you but there are 2 components...Quinn & JL...that remain very 'nebulous'...something is not right...:( .

That's just as we see it. I assume that SA knows a lot more as to what is going on.

I'm looking forward to buying RC a beer when JL shows up. :)

I have my bottle of Van Gogh Dutch Caramel ready for the day we see JL in Troy:) I'm saving the Ultimat Cherry Vodka for Luke's appearance at RPI. I am a bit nervous about Quinn's not playing down the stetch but it is just my nature to worry a little.

Van Gogh Pineapple with a lemon-lime soda of your choice is a mighty tasty and dangerous concoction.

Re: RPI 2010 Recruiting III: Monty's Quest for the Holy Grail

Heres an article from the Pembroke newspaper regarding the previous game:

http://centraljuniorhockeyleague.ca/view/CJHL/news-110/news_11978

Guy Leboeuf got one back for the Colts a minute later, another power play marker and another one on a one-timer that Scott Zacharias had no chance to stop. Former King Chris Mason got an assist on the play.

Laliberte completed the comeback with a wicked wrist shot to make it 5-3.

Ralph I wasn't aware that you owed me anything other than the typical "Red Cloud was right again." :p
