That Avery kid is no slouch either. I remember him from my trip to Cornwall last year. He's shifty, plays with an edge - getting under opponents skin - and is always around the net...kind of a cross between Polacek and Watts. Dunno if he's headed to D1, but I certainly wouldn't mind if Jake brought him with him in '10 ! :D

Cornwall's best forward, Jacob Laliberte, was among the Colts veterans getting a night off.

A night earlier, Eric Ming and Laliberte each had a pair of goals and an assist in that Cornwall 4-1 win over the Kingston Voyageurs at the civic complex.

JL's younger brother Yanik looks to be on his way to making the Hawkesbury roster. Should make for some interesting games against Cornwall this year. I wonder if RPI has shown any interest in him?

It will of course come down to his performace and competitiveness. If memory serves, Yanik is even slighter in build than Jake is, so he'll need to be slamming protein shakes on an hourly basis for the next few years...:D
