I suggest that this thread needs a little Valium right now;) Still one of the best medications around for controlling anxiety.

Doc...I'm disappointed with you...Dutch Caramel is waaaaaay better as a medication...:p

RB...my sincerest apologies for not having the first scrimmage date to you before WA had to pull me out of the hopper...:o

Today is 17 August 2010. There are 52 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 8 October for the start of next season.

Actually I prefer to go back to the good old days of Quaaludes. Nothing made life so pleasant as those old 714's. But that was the late 70's and early 80's and I did not expect anyone on the board to know about them. Have you tried the Dutch Caramel with Ginger Ale? It was Jenny's invention and has become her favorite.

Got this from USHR:
6'0", 192 lb. North Jersey Avalanche forward Justin Selman has committed to the University of Michigan for the fall of '12.

Selman also visited RPI and the University of New Hampshire.
He just finished up playing for the US in the Hlinka Tournament last week. If anything, its just a good reminder to know RPI is still battling it out with the big boys for these type players.

Thanks. Hopefully, we will win a few of these.

So now the main question is "Has cmmarkham defected to Union?" ;)

As far as I can tell, cmmarkham still posts to RPISPORT-L. I just realized that I can't post there because I gave them my alum e-mail instead of my e-mail that I can send stuff with... not that a little e-mail "hacking" couldn't do the trick. ;) Probably isn't worth getting 40 responses of "No, Appert should be fired because we haven't won a national championship derka durpdee der RPI's season consists of three games freakout clarkson and at clarkson derpdee derp!"

Like the idea of Bruts on Chase line. BB was winning indvidual battles at the end of the year and that is what is needed on that line. when I was at the dinner the other night I was amazed at how big Koudys was. looks like he can step in right away and help.

Lets save the Koudys-turning-pro rumors for next summer. :D

Sounds about right. Not saying this is true of everyone on there but that list is generally ruled by full fledged members of the Order of the Rubber Bedsheets. The same morons who were talking down D'Amigo so much last season that his family ended up getting involved are probably the same idiots who are proclaiming the death of the program due to his departure. It never fails with these dopes - and I'm sure they found some direct link to the firing of Mike Adessa to boot.

I think one of them posted as a reply to the news article on here regarding JDA's departure. The person's first post, and probably one he/she sees the little red doo-hickeys, his/her last.

I wasn't subscribed to RPISPORT at the time, but what could they have been saying about Jerry? (If you don't want to post it on here, feel free to e-mail me; I know it wasn't posted on here, only the parents' responses.) I know he did miss an open net a couple times, but a lot of great players do that every once in a while, and it's no reason to degrade a person. BTW, I met his family at Starr, and they seem very nice.
