Re: RPI 2010 Off-season thread V: Captain Kennedy and the A-Team

I haven't interjected myself into this squabble that has been taking place because I respect everyone involved and haven't wanted to pi** both sides off but I feel compelled now. Everyone has a great take on this board and sometimes we may rile each other w something posted. We share alot in common like supporting SA and our love of the program. We should move on now because this is counterproductive. One thing I noticed when I read Ed's column today is that I think he reads this board and took large snippets of what we have been writing about JDA situation and incorporated it in his piece. To me that is cool. We keep each other informed and in the loop which is awesome.I am guilty of trying to get under people's skin as the next poster. I love to try and get a rise out of RB but he never bites. Why I'm going all Oprah on you guys is that we have more that unites us than divides us. I suggest that we agree to disagree and move on. I leave you with the 9th commandment from the First Church

Thou shalt not bicker with thy fellow fans

BTW - we're really ******ed when I'm the peacemaker on the board :D

My bark is worse than my bite anyway. :D

Go **** yourself dude....just kidding. :D I agree with you that we should be united and move on from the recent string of squabbles here. Maybe its the dog days of summer getting to people and the itching to see someone in Cherry and White smash someone in Garnet and White into the boards or maybe it is just that the excitement of this upcoming season is causing all this. But either way shake your ***** off, the contest is over. If I made anyone upset by this then I apologize in advance.

I unilaterally moved on from this 24 hours ago, I suggest everyone else consider doing the same.

Some solid writing going on the past few days over at WAP. Good stuff to read in between projects at work. I plan on heading over to Cambridge for the Harvard game on Nov. 6th, always enjoy the area and watching Harvard lose. Last time I was out there they lost to North Dakota 10-1 and 4-3.

Barq's has bite? :D

In any case, I'm just glad that I really didn't get involved with picking a side and just tried to stay neutral. I guess that's why I'm the declarer of daytime television events here. ;)

I agree he looked like he was nicked up for a lot of the year. IIRC, he was a healthy scratch at least once down the stretch, which to me means Seth wasn't groovin' on what Tyler was doing in practice. He's is a senior now a nobody's gonna hold his hand, he needs to take the binky out of his mouth, grab his lunch pail and leave it all out there on every shift. If not, he'll be holding a clipboard on game night. :D
was at practice this afternoon...Tyler looks like a man on a mission, perpetual scowl all practice. Tinordi is ALOT bigger than I realized. We're going to fall in love w/Rogic...and speaking of big, Lebeuof IS BIG...and no BP.

I agree, and the same could be said for BP. Missing 4 team building outings in the last week. Wedding excuse or no, that's sure to go down hard with some of his teammates who are in Troy breaking their arses...on and off the ice.

...trying hard to remember we're on the outside looking in at this. But, 4 team outings and 7 Cap't. practices.....?

I hope you don't take this to mean he's been sitting around eating ho-hos all summer.

If Coach says he was away...then he is away. He will be fine come the season. Step back from the ledge and give us your shoelaces. :D

no-nos on the ho-hos:D ...I have no doubt he's working out/skating wherever he is, just wish it were in Troy

He's a student. He doesn't have to be back on campus until next week. Whatever he has going on, he has going on and I'm not going to pry because he's entitled to his privacy.

Not trying to start anything, but if your at these practices why dont you just ask one of the players what is up with BP? Or do you stalk them from the corner of the rink with a black trenchcoat, sunglasses, and black baseball cap on...

Re: RPI 2010 Off-season thread V: Captain Kennedy and the A-Team

He's a student who is a member of team, a team he's been absent from..smack in the middle of some of the most grueling workouts of the whole **** year. Maybe he's channeling Brett Favre and doesn't have much use for training camp. There may be a darn good reason he's MIA, but as the days tick by, the wedding story doesn't pass the smell test

no trenchcoat, no sunglasses...yes on the bbcap:D I have asked what is up w/BP...but as RC stated several posts back about privacy, I prefer not to post conversations I have w/any player regarding such matters. I don't take it as you trying to "start anything" fc12. Ill just take RC's suggestion and let it be....when he's here, he's here

Sounds good. Totally understand the privacy issue. Keep up the good work.

Exactly. I highly doubt BP to be like one of our prospects, if you know what I mean...
