You seemed to have a pretty reliable source regarding BP-have you asked your source lately?

There's no mystery -- BP has been in town for workouts, and as the 1st Church reported, he was excused from the golf outing due to a family wedding.

Asking him to give up that number never felt right to me. If he wants it back it is his but I would think he wouldn't want to switch back.

It happens all the time in sports, at any level...the players work it out. Unselfish guys like Rabbani don't hesitate....its that simple.

Well, look at it this way. We saw Marty O'Grady contribute significantly last year. We've seen Tyler Helfrich and Patrick Cullen contribute significantly in the past. We've seen Alex Angers-Goulet put up excellent supporting role numbers over the last two years. We saw Bryan Brutlag provide a boost to scoring when he was moved off the blueline. We saw C.J. Lee do everything but score last season. We saw Scott Halpern have his moments (although he was rough down the stretch). Throw in guys like Brock Higgs, Matt Tinordi, and Johnny Rogic who are coming off great years in junior A, and a solid checking line guy in Greg Burgdoerfer to compliment Joel Malchuk, Josh Rabbani, and Justin Smith to put together a 4th line with some degree of scoring kick to it, and it's easy to see how this could be a strong scoring team.
Totally agree RC. I'm never gonna stop saying it ..Marty O. is a Captain in the making, he only knows how to do one thing and that is hustle. And he knows how to finish. He covers more ice on every shift than just about anyone else...Love the guy wish we could clone him.

Interesting. I can see our defense possibly improving if York improves, but we will have to rely on at least two dmen without any NCAA experience. I think that they (especially Koudys) will be better in the long run than the graduating seniors, but it will take time.

Every team sends freshmen over the boards. Vines will be smart about who he pairs them with and in what situations we put them in. I think we're pretty fortunate that we've got 4 upperclassmen on the blueline... they'll play the bulk of the minutes and we'll be fine.

I expect another step forward from York.

watched the boys yesterday practice...I was very impressed with Rogic, Higgs & Tinordi. Tinordi has a bomb of a shot & Rogic can fly, why I think he would fit perfectly w/BP. BP was still not there (at family wedding I was told)...sure have loooong weddings? There was a short skirmish among 1 player taking on 2....from the distance I was at it sure looked like Burgdoerfer :D I agree, it would've been great having JD'A no question, but this team has a huge upside with the talent that's here.

Checked in w/ my source. 100% he is coming back. In many ways it is Chase's and his team. Who replaces Jerry as a co-captain?

Not sure. I would have no issue with one captain and two assistants, but with all of them being seniors, there may be some perceived issue with passed-on leadership.
