Re: RPI 2010 Off-season thread V: Captain Kennedy and the A-Team

You keep it up and I'll have to permanently change my thread name to Tanya H. :p
Hmmm... is this why there are rumors about Jeff Gillooly being the BRO's personal checking coach? :p

Re: RPI 2010 Off-season thread V: Captain Kennedy and the A-Team

Of course, we always use Binghamton, while they know he is from Johnson City. Same difference.

"We" use whatever the student-athlete lists as his home.

BTW, your tagline seems fairly disrespectful.

I'll be ashamed of any fans that might find it more fun to boo Jerry at the Team USA game in December.

I'm saying this now because I know some yahoos are going to do it.

I wish Jerry all the best in achieving his dream...how proud he must feel right now...not to meniton his paretns!

New thread title:

RPI 2010 Off- Season...Houston, we have Rocket Lift Off! Godspeed Gentlemen!

I am going to presume that the First Church and the Madmen are going to combine to help create a massive "Jerry! Jerry!" chant, one last time.

That assumes he'll be there, of course. If he makes the Leafs and becomes an important cog, he won't be.

Sportsmanship shouldn't be difficult when you've enjoyed the benefit of someone like JDA in your camp...

Re: RPI 2010 Off-season thread V: Captain Kennedy and the A-Team

He had a great year, he's pro-ready right now and Toronto can use all the help they can get. All in all it's not surprising although it's a huge bummer for us.

I'll be more upset if the Maple Leafs screw with his development. He can make the Leafs right out of camp though. That's just my opinion, however.

Wish we had one more year of seeing Jerry streak down the wing, but c'est la vie. Good luck to Jerry. I'll be disappointed if he ends up in the O, but when you sign on, you do as the mother ship says. If I had to guess, I'd say he ends up with the Marlies.

I know I would be game for that. Section 33 will have my and I assume burgie12's support in this matter.

Boo him? Im going to more than Boo him...throw canadian coins at him, put maple syrup in his bag, get a big pile of maple leafs and throw them on the ice at the first sight of him. You know now that he is canadian and all :p.

I will cheer him in intros if he should be starting that night, I will cheer him if he scores, but if he gets checked into the boards by an RPI player I will cheer the RPI player for making a nice hit on an opposing player.

So, what you're telling me is, the north side is going to have to outcheer and outchant the south side's boos? Oh, well that shouldn't be too hard. :p

I keed, I keed.

Re: RPI 2010 Off-season thread V: Captain Kennedy and the A-Team

I'm seeing the brighter seats in my photos, as well. Not sure if it's the lighting or if I still had the "vivid" color enhancement set on my camera from previous photography.

The new windows will add a new dimension to day games at the fieldhouse. Though they will have curtains up, as well, to keep the sunlight from melting the ice (or at least so I've been told by the person I spoke with at the HFH).
I believe a VIP suite and offices are yet to be erected which I presume will block that sun at least partially if not totally

The steel work is up for the suites, as evidenced by the pic RC posted in WAP.

I am not going to comment in fear of being attacked by south side folks. :D

This will most certainly take place if Jerry is in attendance.
