Telegraph-Herald article on Curadi & Quinn playing in the Chowder Cup.

http://www.thonline.com/article.cfm?id=291207

Had a chance to watch both these guys at the chowder cup. RPI will have two large mobile D men. Curadi is going to be a very speacial player in the future. He was a man playing amungst boys in that chowder cup. RPI is doing well with these two guys.

Having not seen Curadi play at all myself, you're saying he's mobile? I know the Chowder Cup quality of players is sketchy at best, but the one thing I've read about Curadi is that the speed/mobility is an issue.

Montgomery on the B.R.O.: "...“I’ve watched him over last two years...What struck me right away is his mobility and size. What’s really progressed is how he has evolved as a hockey player and understood the role of a defenseman and just the game better. His instincts and hockey sense have improved by leaps and bounds.

“His puck skills and skating skills were always high end. He handles the puck well and has an absolute bomb. "

just got back from Lake Placid...had a chance to talk to JDA before game. Man, he's gotten huge compared to last year. It didn't seem he got a lot of ice time in the game although he was on the PK & there were a ton of penalties...didn't play on the PP. ...

The young guys (Beau Bennett, Charlie Coyle, etc.) got a lot of the ice time up front...to start getting them used to the skill of the Euros.

...one year at Notre Dame. Wasn't he one of our targets at one point?

I suppose that after his arrest in South Bend, he decided that "the whole school thing" (to quote another USNDTP kid) wasn't for him. :p

Would RPI be able to play the UAlbany club team or HVCC in a scrimmage ...
I don't think that that would be advisable. If our guys faced off against either of these squads, Dana McGuane would need to supply the visitors bench with a stack of body bags...and a neck brace for their keeper. :D

Oops. I know what you're getting at but that's not what you said...

You're just so **** proud of yourself...kinda funny.... in a needy sort of way.

It would make just as much (or little) sense to play the RPI club team.

I'm not your enemy, WS. We all have bad luck streaks. Well, most of us. You can stop with the hate.

I'll stop when you stop with the self-righteous B.S...but I know that's out of your grasp.

Little less sure of the Pirri thing than I was yesterday but still think it is going to be alright.

Doctor Baer, any thoughts on giving awards to posters on the board. I was kinda of thinking that I'm a strong candidate for rookie of the year honors. Would even settle for most improved poster.
