Things do seem to be looking up on defense-it just may take a year longer for everything to gel. Here's hoping our upperclass defensemen play to the best of their ability while we wait for the new boys to mature and fit in. It would help considerably if we manifest a potent offense up front that can keep the puck out of our defensive end for long stretches of time though.
It was far, far worse back when Swanson and Luthi were the experienced blueliners, for sure. At least now we'll have four of six guys with NCAA experience, and I suspect that in 2011 Quinn and Curadi won't be your average freshmen.
