Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

(almost as much as I like booger
12's perfectly articulated posts, about nothing) Think he has ever been to a game?

Cute word association, but not my name. And, every weekend I'm here, I'm at the HFH. If you're going to rag on me for anything, yell at me for only going to only 2 away games in my 3 years (at CCT during the 07-08 and 08-09 seasons).

My hockey knowledge isn't the best. And, I have a more mathematical / analytical mind. That's why I focus more on playoff probabilities, trends, random observations. I try and stick to talking about things that I have some idea on, instead of spouting randomly.

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

He's predicted like 5 sweeps in a row or something. Meanwhile, I can't remember the last time Sullivan was accurate with his RPI pick either way.

Well you could argue that he'd have been right about RPI if they hadn't gone into slo-mo last Sat. vs. DC.

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

He's in 4th. Vote. NOW!

The fan vote ultimately counts for 1% of the final Hobey vote.

There are fewer than 99 coaches, administrators, and writers who have a vote.

I'll let you do the math.

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

Was anyone else as amused as I was that Sullivan was concerned about whether RPI was going to fill the Field House for senior night? :D

I was amused that he didn't mention that it also is the Freakout. :)

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

The tickets that are left are likely up in the horrible armpits of HFH where you can't see sh-t. :D

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

We didn't sell out last year's freakout.

And I heard there are still some tickets available for freakout.

While I love a good sellout, it doesn't mean there won't be a great crowd there...it just means the 500 or so seats that are located behind girders might be sparsely filled. The joint will be rockin' ..I predict.

All true, but the public sentiment can and should get him on the real (short) list.
