RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

Lack of D at critical times was not intended to mean defensive breakdowns by only the D-men and was also not intended to say that the D is playing poorly as a whole. I like our defensive corps. I just think there have been breakdowns in the defensive end at critical times.

Yeah. I guess we're actually in agreement then. :D

Foss especially in the last couple of months has had some errors that leave your jaw on the floor. He was so good in the first three months of the season, and now, the problems are so odd.

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

Ah, there's my stalker chiming in with further butthurt. She's still angry about my Yale pairwise analysis and is projecting. Again.

If you had actually done any analysis like I have seen you do for rpi and scsu there never would have been an issue. I'm not angry, just not ever going to let you off the hook for being who you are.

Come to think of it, Beman and kmp have quite a bit in common.

I'm cool with this Beman, how about you? We both know RC is a total ******.

I do prefer Schott (the king of ECAC Hockey), but you're right, Weaver at least has the focus. I'm willing to overlook the minutia and some of the downright silly pieces (this one, the outdoor game one) for the useful stuff.

It's a far cry from the coverage I got used to in St. Cloud, that's for sure.

Yeah we didn't need your dumb*** to chime in and restate what Burgie had already done a completely fine job restating himself from the original message in disagreement with Weaver. Did you want to do some actual analysis now or just more pretend analysis?

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

LOL, Peter Feola is one of the linesmen for the Canada-Switzerland game going on now.

Hey, while he's in Vancouver he's not in Troy. That's what you like to see. :)

He's definitely no Scott Hansen, but the Olympics could do much, much worse when it comes to ECAC refs.

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

Quoted For Truth, Beman. It's a rather common internet acronym. If I'd used "QED," which is what you were probably thinking of, then yes.

As it is, though, I've seen enough butthurt for one day coming from RIT representatives, I really don't need to see your butthurt too.

don't be so sensative. get off the computer take your significant other out for glass of red wine, a nice new york strip. or if that is not your cup of tea do something crazy like..... write a couple incomplete sentences, misspell some words on one of your 200 million posts. go really nuts

Wow. Awesome.

Don't ever change, Beman.

Game notes are up for this weekend.

O'Brien and Zelasko for Friday, Wahl and Zelasko for Freakout.

Hopefully they won't even be noticed or have any effect on the outcome. At some preious BRFs I think some refs have intentionally made some early calls to calm the crowd down a bit and take them out of the game. I know one of the fellows who used to occassionally be a linesman at RPI games and he found the BRF to be somewhat intimidating for the officials-in the old days the noise was just so great that they could not hear their own whistles. Instituting the RBI Rule after Brown complained has made the noise much less of a problem for the officials.

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

This post was nearly impossible to read, due to the lack of complete sentences. But, assuming that my translator is working correctly, I agree with the premise of the post. Defense wins games and RPI is losing games because of their lack of D at critical times, not because their D-men are not scoring.

:D

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

To all, I am heartly sorry for my spelling, improper grammer etc..... and what ever else offends you. my last confession was 3 years ago
But RPI needs to tighten up transition game and better d zone coverage....

for the WHOLE game!

I don't care what the stats about where they stand in the ECAC d wise

They are loosing games in the third because of bad team D

All you people that sent me messages about Red Cloud...... well you are right, and I promise not to post them

Well that's darn decent of you, Beman. I'm a humble man, I prefer not to be lauded in public. In return, I will similarly refrain from posting reps I've received about you. It's a fair trade off, I think.

He's no Kotyra or Murphy, but he does suck.

Things I learned:

RPI started 5-0 vs Quinny and then was 0-5-4 coming into the start of the season.

Peter Merth will likely become the career leader in games played by an RPI player by the end of the season.

The RPI Holiday Invitational used to have a "play til you win" philosophy to overtime (which would have been brutal this year between LSSU and UC).

With a couple great weekends by Chase to improve his Hobey Baker credentials, he could become a point-per-game player.

It's time to make history not rehash it. As far I'm concerned, we're 1-0 vs. Q.
My boy Winston Churchill said it best:

" History is written by the victors.

GO RED... TAKE TWO!!!!

12's perfectly articulated posts, about nothing) Think he has ever been to a game?
