I'll provide the tiara...:D
Just between you and me Babo.... she doesn't wear a tiarra. You can get away with this minor offense. Whatever you do though, never let on that you don't in fact own a Star Trek uniform that you only wear on important occasions!

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

Especially if Luke ever makes a mistake that costs us. I can't wait to see the discussion on that one. If RC pulls out the cat food I think Babo will track him down and make him eat it. :p

I will have RC's back...I will be the first to bash if Curadi ***s up...ask him. The motto in our house it, "Keep your head up or you'll get run"!:D

Re: RPI 2009-10 Part IV: The Boys are Back in Town

Getting back to hockey and having time to digest this past weekend, as tough as it was not to get any points at Brown, the win Saturday night was probably as important as any in the Appert era. With 8 games to go my best guess is RPI will need 11 points to have a good shot at the bye. A position they have not been in for several years. 6 or 7 points should secure home ice in the 1st round. Either way, I can see this team becoming a very dangerous out in March.

As far as next years OOC schedule I haven't seen too much on any home opponents and was wondering if anyone had any info. Unofficially, I'm aware of 2 games @ Colorado College, 2 @ Ala Huntsville, 1 at Army, 1 in Lake Placid and the Tourney with Bowling Green, UConn and Ala Huntsville. That should leave 4 more games. Thanks for any info in advance.

I think we could be a bit more clever...if Ralph Baer or Red Cloud could direct their 'minions' in an appropriate manner, we may be able to come up with a method of contact, ala "The Sting" where we all touch our noses, wink or nod...make Reg Dunlap (or should I say Henry Gonddorff?) proud! ;)

How about a subtle hockey-related gesture... say, like a hooking or charging penalty? :D Reg Dunlap would be so proud.

Hey, 2000 posts... on to the third millenium, only a few years late, not bad for me

During an interview with the Bentley head coach at this years tournament, he mentioned that his team would be back in Troy next season.

Correct. I would guess that BU would pay a return visit to Troy. On my sheet of paper where I keep track of this, I also have a game at Northeastern. I don't know the source for that information. If that is correct, there is one more.

Edit: re Northeastern. I remember. They were on an early schedule for this season but disappeared.

Id love to see Denver make a trip to Troy someday, RPI has gone out there twice in the past 4 years, its time for them to pay a visit.

You're really hung up on that cat food, aren't you?

The answer is probably something like the year before, but when was the last time a WCHA team has made the trip to HFH? Obviously CCHA teams have come out here recently (Notre Dame, LSSU, Ohio State), but I can't recall any WCHA teams. I realize their travel budget is huge because they have to go to Colorado twice and Alaska every other year...

St. Cloud is the only team that comes to mind and that was maybe 5-6 years ago, IIRC

I think that their trips to Alaska are still paid by UAA.

Doc...it will be a fun challenge to keep up (I just got through looking up 'copulae'...)...thought I was on the cutting edge, get back and RB has already made the best comment on the subject!

If nothing else-we always have the most articulate threads on the board. We seem to have it all-information, current events, wit, sarcasm-you name it and you can find it on one of our threads:D
