Hoping the new venue brings a change in luck for RIT against Niagara.
Hopefully both games will be good as they are being carried on Time Warner here in Utica.
Also, 2015 recruit Abbott Girduckis RW-Wellington OJHL was selected for the World Jr A Challenge being held Kindersly Sask
9 minutes of penalty kill in the third period; one shot allowed.
Does anyone have a more stifling PK than RIT right now?

I haven't watched all of the game yet. But a couple of observations...
Another line beside the Grabowsky one needs to get scoring. It's great he's on fire but for the long run it's unsustainable.
Also was the attendance as bad as it looked on TV?
Attendance was about 2,500. It always looks emptier on TV though since most people tend to sit in the GA end or the area around the club seats which is usually the opposite direction from the camera.

True... and, in watching the re-run of the game today, I noticed that it looked pretty crowded in some shots. And even though it looks empty, this is still more than we could have ever tried to fit in Ritter.

Garbowsky is carrying that line, to me he is a clear 1st half MVP of the AHA.
To me the question for the second half will be can RIT win if Matt Garbowsky doesn't score?????
He's playing right now like not just the MVP of the AHA but one of the best in the nation. The guys on TV on Friday were talking about him being a Hobey candidate. And while I think those two are bozos they are spot on in this instance. If he keeps this kind of play up he should be. He won't win, and shouldn't, but he should be in the conversation.
Three of the top 4 in scoring in the nation are from the AHA. While they may deserve it, I would be shocked if more than 1 made it to the Hobey finalists due to at least perceived last of quality competition in the league.
And the one who does make it as a candidate won't be seriously considered. More like a "thanks for playing" nod.
True. It just looks bad on TV when lots of front row seats at the end RIT defends twice are mostly empty. 2500 is respectable, but at the time I wrote my comment I had no idea how many attended. I just had to go by what it looked like on TV.
