Re: >>>>> RIT TIGERS - Roaring into the postseason <<<<<
I might feel bad for Bentley's fans -- the team seems to tease them every year only to fall short. But I don't feel bad for the team; they had plenty of opportunities to play themselves into the BCA. They could have captured the 3 seed by simply getting a single point against Holy Cross, but even when they fell to #4, they secured a matchup with a Mercyhurst team that similarly struggled down the stretch.
Credit to Mercyhurst, though. Before these Bentley wins, they'd gone 4-7 in their last 11 games with the wins coming against the worst two teams in the league. They turned it around with a strong road series this weekend, but now they've got a really tough draw against their in-state rivals.

As much as you can feel bad for another team in your league you have to feel bad for Bentley, they just can't catch a break. Western pod sends four teams to the BCA next week. Congrats to Mercyhurst and Coach Gotkin for scoring three in the last nine minutes. They will be a formidable opponent for RMU.
