Dominant? Their last National Championship was in 1985, 20 years prior to their departure from D-III.
Yes, they were among the best teams in D-III more often than not, but they were hardly dominant.
Maybe we weren't DIII champs all the time, but I think it's fair to say that RIT dominated it's league from 93-94 to 02-03 in DIII. And 03-04 and 04-05 weren't bad. Then, obviously, 05-06 was our first year at D1 (which was awful - 0.233 win %) but in 06-07 we won the regular season.
