Just a note for the games this weekend. Wegman's ticket vouchers are only 12.00. I just hope that the BCA box office and #@%&$# at Ticketmaster don't give us a hard time when we stop by to turn the voucher in for game tickets. It's obscene that they have to DOUBLE the price of tickets for their FEES
for basically doing NOTHING!

It is scary but out of all these guys who do we want to see doing the games at the blue cross center? Who would be the best option?
I think we look at the quarter final guys and pick 4

Troup and Sweeney I am all most willing to bet will be there. I am not a fan, but I am guessing Durfee would be the third. Figure Gates or Schubert on the final slot, maybe a long shot for Ciamaga, Foote, and Visconte...

Rotolo comes back and dominates Mercyhurst and our biggest topic is the officials? Really?

I hope Army can put up a strong fight against Robert Morris, but I think the Colonials may be too much for them. The Tigers against Air Force will be hard fought. I would not be surprised if it goes to overtime.

Rotolo played well, I think the team over all played very well against Mercyhurst, not much more today and on to Air Force. To me this and ever game from here on in will come down to if RIT finishes their chances. They've shown all year their D can match up with anyone and they can produce enough chances to win any hockey game. Finishing those chances is what makes the difference.

I am thinking anything can happen in the Army v. RMU game. I really did not think Army would beat Holy Cross, in fact I had Holy Cross in Rochester for this weekend going back to the weekend that RIT played them. So Army has already proven me wrong, which not many do ;-), so I am not counting them out. A team who is playing as hot as they are is always dangerous. Thing is RMU is returning as the top seed again a year after being shocked by Mercyhurst in the semifinal last year. They should have that in the best of their heads and will not take Army lightly. Last year it was really goal-tending that did RMU in...

Yep, and Army's goalie is as hot as anyone in D1 right now. I'd love to see another RMU upset..and Army makes a great Cinderella story.

I think this year the finals are for the first time in a long time up in the air. All the teams are playing well and each game will have you on the end of your seat. Good luck to all the teams. Its going to be good. see you all there

Congrats to Chase Norrish for winning Atlantic Hockey's Best Defenseman Award. Well deserved. He has improved significantly from last year (and even since the beginning of this year).

Not that I want to look much past tonight right now... But I am curious what the defensive pairings will look like next year. It would be interesting to see a Norrish/Norrish top pairing.

How's that, exactly? The # 1 seeds have not even made it to the Finals in three years. In those seasons, the best seed to make it to the championship game (and win it) is a # 3 (2015 RIT). The remainder were seed numbers 5, 5, 7, 7, and 6. This tournament is regularly "up in the air".
 
Yeah boys, way to show what you got and take the fight to Saturday night! Great job by Rotolo to shut down the falcons in the third and OT!

Wow - with how mediocre this season was at times, and all the goalie issues, I never expected this...

Back to back champs! Amazing and unbelievable. Amazing accomplishment by the upperclassman who will now certainly go down in the history books.

Looks like we'll draw against Quinnipac next weekend. RIT showed flashes of greatness this weekend but I don't think they played to their full potential either night - but that's good. We were able to walk away champs and still have another gear we can switch into for next weekend.
