I actually think the shot were accurate the more telling stat if kept would have been scoring chances. Niagara took every open look shot on Watson they got in the first two periods last night. RIT kept giving them those looks from out high or at odd angles and Watson kept making the saves. Niagara held the puck for better looks in the third and the shots went way down. Hopfully I get no RIT Goaltending hate mail for this comment, but Watson played well I won't say he stood on his head, but I am never easy on goaltenders, just ask Ryan Scott...
When you consider who RIT had out of the lineup you have to feel very good about this game, especially if Reid had a little faster hands they may have won that game last night. This team is coming around nicely and looking forward to the second half. The Blue line has cut down on mistakes and been doing a great job of limiting good chances and the give aways have gone down, but still needs to go lower. The goaltending is proving its good enough to give you a chance to win. Get people healthy and this team is where I beleived they should have been at the begaining of the season. In the end I think they are going to be in the thick of thing, at worst a home playoff series in the first round and a handful for anyone in the quarters and if they get to Blue Cross will have a chance if they can play two good games...
I have to give a little credit to the officals last night, not perfect, but they did an alright job. Also I have to say I just hate Niagara's rink. Seats are too shallow. People move around too much and as always its way to silent there. But that what happens when everyone care more about a Basketball team beating up a nobody. Gotta give Burky credit, he has half the passion in the following of his team, but they bring in good talent...
And thanks for the link but put it in the thread so we can watch it!

I was at the game, the shots were greatly exaggerated. If reversed, they would have been more believable. We actually laughed out loud when they were announced.
