Does that mean the RIT/Niagara game or the 'Hurst/AFA game? Or both?
Seriously??? You think there's a chance in h**l that the MU-AFA game will draw 3200 fans here? 32 maybe. And we know not too many RIT fans will be there early, at least not until after the Women's game is done.

I imagine there's going to be a fair amount of Niagara fans there.. probably some MC too. I'm hoping, as ususal, that they're drowned out by a sea of orange.
I don't know. From what I've seen, NU doesn't travel very well, especially considering their road games I've seen have all been here in Rochester only 60 miles or so away. There are a fair number of NU alumni in the area, but it is a pretty small school. Not nearly as much to draw from as RIT. I would assume a playoff game will bring more fans than I've seen here in the past, but we'll have to see.
p.s. - it's now MU.

It's all good. No anger intended. I was chuckling as I wrote that.

Ok haha I read it with a very arsehole-ish voice in my head. No worries.

I should be at BCA in time to catch at least the 3rd of the AFA/MHU game. Still not sure what the Corner Crew plans on doing. Based on their Facebook it looks like they just want to jump across the ice to avoid Niagara, but I think they made that announcement without realizing which way we were likely going to be shooting.

I know goon and soup are on here, so hopefully they sort it out.

Also, absolutely bringing my RIT Umbrella to the game. It just has to happen.

I'm so happy to see McReynolds getting some points on the board these past two weekends. He deserves to be rewarded for his excellent play. Let's see if we can get back to the NCAAs tomorrow. Go tigers!

Well, the Tigers got that monkey (ok, maybe a gorilla) off their back. Now it's time to shed monkey # 2 and take a bite out of AFA's dominance of this tournament in what should be RIT's "home away from home".
If they keep playing like they did Sunday and tonight, it's certainly within their reach. Air Force is not unbeatable in this arena, it just seems that way.

Sadly we will probably have half as many people there tomorrow due to the women's game that conflicts entirely.

Given the momentum and emotional boost that this win is going to give us compared to beating any other team, you have to like RIT's chances tomorrow. Let's hope they didn't burn all their energy tonight.

Madolora looked incredible, and the Garbowsky/McReynolds line was firing on all cylinders. Niagara has Noonan to thank for finishing that game anywhere near us on the scoreboard.

I wish the women's game could be moved to a earlier time! This is the second year in a row that this has happened. Though it is exciting to see both in Final games it's splitting our fan base! lol

My meaningless prediction: If AFA plays like yesterday and RIT plays like yesterday, the Tigers will move on to the NCAAs. (Interpret as you wish!)

A more meaningful prediction: Neither team will play like yesterday and this is a tossup. I just hope "penalties" don't decide it.

I can't wait to get rid of this senior class!!! I will be ecstatic when they are gone! The lack of leadership out of that class sickening.

Since this quote:
Burt - GWG in 2ot against Bentley to stave off elmination in the quarterfinals
McReynolds - 2 goals in win to advance to the AHA semifinals
McReynolds - GWG in ot to finally beat Niagara with Eckenswiller with an assist on it

I don't remember this situation significantly effecting the mens attendance last year. I think the fact that it's St. Patricks day might be the biggest impact on attendance.

Madolora- 3-0 including a shutout and a 27 save 1 goal performance against Niagara.

Indeed. It's funny, it's almost a given that Madolora will let in 2 goals max, so 3 goals and we definitely win right?

If you look at all of the scores from this year, getting 3 goals is pretty much exactly what gives us the win...

I don't care if Madolora gives up 10 tonight ... as long as RIT scores 11!

In 100% of RIT's wins, the Tigers scored more goals than they gave up. (i.e., you can find pretty much anything you want in the stats.)

Edit: Happy St. Patrick's Day. It be noon.

I don't think Madolora has been criticized much here. Those others have.

I was just reading over on CHN that Michigan St. will be rooting against RIT due to the wins over Ferris St and Lake Superior and how an RIT win hurts them in Pairwise. Got to love how quickly things change this time of year.
