So USCHO's site seems to indicate that tonight and tomorrow's game are on TWCS, the way the home games always are...but my guide at home has the Amerks game tonight and high school basketball (gag) tomorrow night.

Anyone know what the deal is?

www.twcsportsnet.com says they are on channel 98.

Again.. won't be surprised if we don't make it to BCA.

Not if they play like they did tonight. Bentley was winning all of the battles tonight. If they do manage to make it to BCA and play like this ... they'll get their rear ends handed to them. I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with an RIT performance.

I would think it was the RMU. game just before winter break. Makes Saturdays game that much more interesting.

I don't understand how a team can throw 45+ shots at the net and still look so dead and terrible.

I can't defend how we played tonight, it was embarrassing....

HOWEVER - If Komm doesn't stand on his head and make 2-3 Sportcenter Top 10 saves, the score of the game still falls in RIT's favor.

Re: >> RIT Tigers 2011-12 Part II: Making Some Noise at the House that Roars <<

Truly a lackluster effort tonight, and yet RIT was only one giveaway from going to overtime. The shot totals notwithstanding, Komm gave up a lot of opportunities in front of the net. His defense blocked many shots, and knows how to clean up after him in front. Clearly, Bentley dictated play, and RIT was reacting all night.

You could say the same for Shane keeping it from being a Falcons romp. Bentley's top two lines really had their way tonight and had way too many Grade A chances.

True, but given that we outshot them almost 2:1 you have to give Komm that much extra credit.

Re: >> RIT Tigers 2011-12 Part II: Making Some Noise at the House that Roars <<

Would someone show Adam Hartley where the weight room is? Not that he is the only one, the entire RIT defense needs to lift cause I am sick and tired of seeing RIT lose battles along the board and in front of the net. All most went into orbit when a guy (Colavecchia) who is normally gritty lost a key battle along the board that lead to the first Bentley ENG.

With all due respect to Komm, RIT this year is making good goaltenders look super. Unless you really believe RIT just happens to run into every hot goaltender in the country, this is an offensive problem not super goaltending. Komm's only problem is that he needs to order another jearsey for tomorrow nights game cause RIT wore out the B on the front of the one he wore tonight.

It just beyound frustrating cause every night you come to the rink this year for an RIT game you just do not know what your going to get. Someone tell the guys to cool it as well. There is no excuse for Cameron Burt to take a penalty right before a power play when play was well over. He has never been able to keep his emotion in check...

Was a long quiet car drive back to Buffalo tonight and my wife is probably ****ed at me because I did not say one word....Finishing chances and generating second chances is all its about. Either do it or RIT takes a step back this season....

That says it all right there. Hard to fathom how they'd turn in such a performance at home, during the Playoffs! After having last weekend off to rest, recuperate and refocus on the post-season. The Tigers look DONE.

Good point. I've thought this myself. There are many very good goaltenders in the AHA, BUT come on! We must have close to a 25-to-1 shots to goal ratio over the last couple months. I really don't get it. Are they lacking a coordinated offensive attack? They don't have enough finishers? Not enough sustained pressure and traffic in front of the net? The offense is too methodical and predictable? Lacking line chemistry and/or talent? Something seems "off" with this team more times than not.

Some of us have been not so subtle about saying much of the same things about this team since November...and we caught a lot of **** and heard a lot of excuses from those that were trying hard to stay positive. I'm most disappointed because the mid-season surge made me believe they had it in them to make a serious run coming down the stretch. Then the true 2011-12 Tigers resurfaced at just the wrong time. I know it's never over until it's over, but barring a dramatic turn-around, this looks to finish as the worst RIT D-I season to date (2005-06 notwithstanding).
I usually wouldn't write a "post-mortem" kind of post before the season is over, but my son's preschool has a fundraiser St. Pat's Day thing tomorrow night. So I can't be there for game 2. Still hoping to see more Tiger hockey Sunday, but won't be too disappointed if I were to miss tomorrow's game if it turns out like tonight's.

You should've heard Burt and the Bentley players s*** talking across the announcer's table to each other. It's been a long time since so much unsportsmanlike antics have occurred. Not that RIT's players are angels or anything, but the Bentley players were downright disrespectful.

I'm shocked that no one (on either side) got a 10 min misconduct. Then again, the refs missed 75% of the calls tonight. Talk about amateur hour.

OK, enough from me. Let's see if RIT (and RIT fans) can dig deep and fight for a victory tomorrow.

Yes. Yes. Yes. ...aaaaannnnd... Yes. Or so it would seem from the outside looking in.

Yes the refs and linesmen were awful - both ways. Someone should let them know that when one inadvertently whistles the play dead for an icing that shouldn't be, the face off comes to center ice, not in either team's end.
