No wonder my daughter couldn't figure it out, she wasn't born yet!

I was still wild and free in 1992 (OK, I was married, but no kids!) so either my memory is failing me (somewhat true) ... or that song didn't make the cut against Zeppelin, the Stones, Springsteen, and Rush on the WCMF playlist! :p

Or that might have been about the time I was terribly misguided in falling in love with Melissa Etheridge ... that voice was/is something.:D

OK, it's time for my daily constitutional...;)

Did anyone else notice that Senior Defenseman Carl Hudson is one of Canisius' sumbissions for the Hobey Baker award? Has a Hobey Baker award vote getter ever served an 8 game suspension for leaving the penalty box to rejoin a fight? :p

Has anyone watched an away RIT game on the B2 network online? I am curious to see if the video quality is decent, is there commentating on the game, etc. I know its probably not quite like TWCS broadcasts, but I have become addicted to watchin Tiger hockey and was contemplating watching the game tonight for $7 on B2. Thanks!

The quality of the B2 video depends on the arena. Some places have better cameras than others; at the Ritter, the B2 feed is the center ice camera used in the TWCS broadcast.

At most of the rinks, the B2 feed has the option of either home or visiting radio for its commentary. Assuming our WITR guys have a hookup to B2 at UConn, you should be able to hear them synchronized to the video. Otherwise, it will only be the home UConn broadcast.

According to Scott on the broadcast last night, the Frietas does not have a B2 feed for visiting broadcasters. I recommend streaming WITR in the background. =)

Congratulations to Wilson's 200th win last night.

On a purely speculative note... if the Tigers run the table (winning the National Championship with their only possible loss coming in one of the AHA quarterfinals), Wilson ends the season with 100 D-I wins.

That wouldn't be the first thing that the league requires that schools choose not to do.

Another Impressive stat, the Tigers are now 23-6-2 from 2008 to present against Atlantic Hockey opponents...

Off the top of my head...I think Army, Air Force and RIT are the only places where I have seen visiting B2 work. Holy Cross and Canisius have it installed but do not put visiting radio where they can access it. The rest...I am not sure I have even seen a hookup.

Even when we have had visiting B2 available, in many cases I have heard that the link does not work or goes to the home B2.

Mercyhurst has a visiting B2 hookup, too, but it is on the opposite side of the ice from the press box.

So according to Scott on the broadcast tonight, Burt and Favot are sitting tonight due to lack of hustle or some such. I find it hard to believe, honestly; if I had to name two Tigers who show hustle whenever they're out on the ice, it'd be those two. Very strange.

I'd put Matic, Alexin, and Knowles ahead of them on this list in terms of hustle. But yeah it does seem a little odd.

I can understand sitting DeMike as Madelora needs some work and we will need DeMike for the playoffs.

Burt and Favot are supposed to be the best players on the team. Coach obviously didn't like the way they played so they get to sit. If that means we get a mad Burt and Favot and they play more like the stars they are supposed to be, it will be worth it.
