RIT 2010-11: What do Tigers dream of?

Re: RIT 2010-11: What do Tigers dream of?

I say they've had enough playing time already. Now lets focus on getting wins.

We have room in those places?

i believe we do have room but it is not the most feasible spot. I think the best spot is the area across from D lot and next to the practice fields.. as mentioned already its perfect with all the parking across the street and enough space to accommodate the arena, maybe add a skywalk from 1 of buildings to the arena to help with pedestrian movement

Maybe, although they may need to add more parking since more people will be able to go to games.

Re: RIT 2010-11: What do Tigers dream of?

Nice to see that RIT wanted it tonight. There was a definite hustle on the ice and I was impressed with Eck and Burt tonight. Madolora stopped all of the shots he was supposed to and then some. There were no soft goals on RIT tonight. I think that Madolora ought to be our starter. I think that the #1 spot was Jan's to lose and that he's lost it. Of course, we'll have to see how Jan does tomorrow (is he scheduled to start?).

Re: RIT 2010-11: What do Tigers dream of?

Going into the season, coach seemed to hint in various previews that the job was actually Shane's to lose. His being injured and not able to play opening weekend helped open it up for Jan and Josh - and both had solid games.

I do think that Madolora will get the majority of starts as the numbers just add up for him to get there.

Re: RIT 2010-11: What do Tigers dream of?

An RIT win tonight coupled with a Niagara loss or tie puts the Tigers into first place in the conference!

RIT can't catch up to Robert Morris's 16 points this weekend. (RIT currently has 13 points.) Also, Niagara doesn't play any conference games this weekend. Maybe I'm misreading your post?

Great win by the Tigers last night! Let's do it again tonight!

rit is currently in 3rd as Niagara and canisius are tied for 2nd with 14, RMU in 1st has 16 so RIT has the chance to jump into 2nd if they win tonight and NU and Canisius lose any conference games tonight

Ahhh, you're right, it's a non-conference game so that rules first place tonight.

It good to see them climbing to the top though, just got to keep playing hard the rest of the way.

Want to see RIT in first place ... go to standings and click twice on "Win %" to re-sort the standings. A win tonight will keep the Tigers there.

Didn't have to click on anything to make them #1 here

Yeah, that was par for the course for a couple of years there. We're making big adjustments from last year, so I'm not surprised.

BTW, I love your sig file. You gotta add Rutts Hut in Clifton, NJ to the list, though.

Re: RIT 2010-11: What do Tigers dream of?

Interesting that 3 other teams on THAT list are National Championship constenders.

Re: RIT 2010-11: What do Tigers dream of?

It doesn't hurt that two of those teams are top-5 in PK, and another is 1st in the nation in scoring.

Re: RIT 2010-11: What do Tigers dream of?

RIT proving that it doesn't really matter who's in net when they play like crap on Saturday nights.

2-0 Mercyherst in the first, with a PP for them upcoming.

Glad to be wrong. Madalora with a big save near the end of the first to keep it 2-0, and you have to think Wayne had some fire and brimstone for the Tigers in the locker room after the first period. Nice win to stay in 1st (in terms of point %)

Safe to say Shane has pretty much locked down the #1 spot for now.

Nice to see the road sweep; perhaps the annual turn around has arrived???

Always looking for a good Dog or Burger joint, I'll add Rutts to my list of places to check out. Ted's is by far my favorite. In & Out for burgers.

Good win tonight, glad they fought back to win it.

Re: RIT 2010-11: What do Tigers dream of?

I think it's just as important to note that in both games, RIT shut out Mercyhurst in the 3rd. That has been a key problem during the season.

Indeed. Even more than that they won both games in the 3rd period, as they were both tied 2-2 after 2.

If your heading to Pittsburgh for the game at Consol you might want to hit up the O at Pitt, The Original Hot Dog Shop
