After the winter we just went through, I swore I'd never complain once about the heat all summer.
That does not apply to indoors in a paper mill though. It's already getting hot in here.

So as the job offers keep trickling in from the company I will be accepting mine from, the group of friends they have been offered is going to make this a VERY fun job. Lots of really good people and a group that I'm pretty close with.

Nah, they got rid of it at the beginning of the season if I recall correctly.

We hit 64 today but there's a winter weather advisory for western Maine tonight. Still plenty of snow in the woods around my house but its going quick

You know, I love my family for the most part... But... 18 of us in Hawaii for 9 days? We're on day 6, and I've made the decision to go shopping alone downtown before I lose my mind.

Also, to assist me with this I've bought "Successfully Dealing with Screwed-Up People".

Yeah, Hi Ho Barry O had a burger at one in DC and they exploded in popularity.

Actually

1) that was in arlington
2) it was already popular
3) It wasn't 5 Guys (Ray's Hell Burger)
4) I ate there before it was cool (its 3 blocks from here)
5) If people go to Ray's because of Obama they're freaking idiots
6) Still haven't gotten to Ray's the Steaks... maybe when mom and dad come here in July/August

Hi Lodge.

Now in Goshen Indiana. Boring Menonite and Amish country.

Went to South Side Dinner and Soda tonight. I guess it was on Dinners, Drive-ins and Dives. Meh.

Fly home tomorrow, yay.

Jr. seems to be enjoying track so far. They get to throw the shot tomorrow, been training so far. First meet next Wednesday. That should be interesting.

No wild rice? I'm not a big fan, but I imagine you can get the stuff for roughly $5.00 a barrel up there.

And just to make my night better, the rain has made our direct TV signal go to ****, so deadliest catch is now not showing on TV. Thank god I only have 3 weeks left here, this place makes me miserable.
