Re: Rep Retirement Thread 133: I still hate you all

Good morning LODGEONIANS. The Shot Family is keeping its collective fingers crossed for the weather tomorrow. We're planning a somewhat different family gathering for Easter lunch. Instead of having it inside we're heading to a park and having an outdoor gathering. No traditional Colorado leg of lamb main course either. Mrs. Shot is in the process of cooking a large brisket. We'll be a small mob of twenty to twenty-five people. Brisket isn't the only item on the menu as I think some sisters-in-law will be bringing a spiral ham or two and other items. The park in which we'll be assembling has some covered picnic areas which may be a blessing given the dicey nature of tomorrow's weather outlook. Just so long as there's no downpour all of us should manage to survive.

And now, off to the gym for a legs and cardio workout. Happy Easter to all.;)

I love my xbox360..PS3 is nice and all, but the games and online gaming especially is why I love my 360 so much.

Mornin' all.

Last night in church I was in a drama that we put on for Good Friday. I was the "bad" thief on a cross next to Jesus. We had to hold tree branches on our shoulders for about half an hour. I just kept telling myself, Jesus died on a real cross with nails through him. I can get through a performance with his help! I've got video of the scenes where I was yelling on the cross, my dad recorded it on the flip. If anyone wants to see it, particularly Scarlet, I can put it on facebook.

Off to my cousins for a little family get together! (Thank God for playoff hockey..:p)

This sounds cool.

Anyone else have friends on FB from here that they have no idea who they are without a cheat sheet. Some of you I know but others who post less frequently- It is like playing Mystery guest :o

Morning Lodge. Woke early due to splitting headache. It as finally eased and now I may try to got back to bed. Except I have a ton of stuff to do today.:(
One of the meds they got me on is giving me a splitting headache everyday, I skipped a dose and no headache. Those babies are done, tried to call the Dr but office was closed yesterday. Too bad, I'm not taking them with or without his permission.

Kid had baseball last night, fun game, too bad they lost.

The cure should never be worse than the disease.

It only took the twins 20 games to score more than 5 runs in a game.

Thank the Lord the finally did it!:)

Yeah
It took about 2 weeks for it to show up but now its obvious whats causing the headaches. There was only a 30 or 40 % chance the drug was going to work anyway.

Regardless if it works, you always have to consider your quality of life against just being alive. Both my father and grandfather made the decision that of the quality of life mattered more than just being alive.

Good afternoon from Melbourne Beach.
85F, not a cloud in the sky, the bar is 30 years from my room, the beach is 22 yards, & the pool is 19 yards. Poor planning. :)

30 years, huh? Is that regular years or light years?

So, you're being held captive in a high-traffic area. Close to the bar, so there are lots of loud drunks. Close to the beach, so everyone's kicking sand into your room. Nineteen yards from the pool, so why swim in a pool when you have the ocean right there? This trip sounds like a complete train wreck. Nice goin'.

I agree, I had a spell this winter that made me realize I had to do something even if the drugs suck, they're better then feeling like I'm 80. The one I stopped was the cheaper one and according to the Dr "less toxic" than the other. You have to love hearing the terms" Less Toxic" from your Doc

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 133: I still hate you all

Holy week. Time of quiet. Not everyone observes it so it was my quiet way doing so. I wondered if anyone would notice. :p
I figured it had something to do with what I said in response to your "wobbly wednesday". :D

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 133: I still hate you all

I received a replacement CC since I had my number stolen... I left it unopened in a pile of letters... I let it sit there for a couple of days as I had things to get to... now I can't find it... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

Could I have put it somewhere? Could I have accidently thrown it out? Either way, this is frustrating.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 133: I still hate you all

Do they need somebody who actually knows what the output means? ;)

I keep having to think how much of an opportunity I missed a few years ago with a girl in a bar... *sigh* she was cute and seemed sweet... but, yeah, I've been thinking about it. We have access to one fairly cheap at work... just can't justify taking time off from work to do it though.
Oh quit moping about it Patman and go get the massage, you'll feel better ya putz!!!

A real method actor would have had real nails in his hands.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 133: I still hate you all

Got my buddy drunk. It's a rarity, trust me. Related: on his 21st, we dropped $200 on him, he was fine. Yeah. Tonight, after 5 Long Islands, 4 shots of Jack, and about 6 mason jars of beer, he was beyond dunzo. Can't explain it. Really. This *er can outdrink anyone I know; not that he wants to, he just does.

Edit: he has major sleep apnea, and he's snoring like a buzzsaw right now. :D We broke my buddy!
