Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

'Morning, kids.
Kind of a day off today--I only work for 3 hours later (just covering part of a shift).

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Morning. Not happy, it's going to dump on the mountain tomorrow night and Friday, but the car I'm driving right now (my mom's) is atrocious in the snow, and thus I don't want to risk it, seeing how Murphy C. Law has invaded my life. I'm headed home tomorrow lunch time for the weekend... I really hope this doesn't become an interesting first weekend home since everything has happened, but it probably will be.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

I heard a good culture question this morning. Well for those of us of a certain age.

If someone says to you "STOP". Which of these would be your first response?

a) Hammer time!
b) Collaborate and listen.

There are no other options.

I know in my heart, B is my answer.

"the love you save may be your own."

Heard on an oldies station on the way in today. Forgot that one. Never knew the Ice, Ice Baby one.

Morning Lodge. Last day of batching as the Mrs. and Jr. come home tomorrow.

A for me. Totally.

Hi Lodge
Nice to drive in to work today with the temps in the twenties!
Seriously

Hello stranger! I think I met somebody who works for the same company as you and lives in Alex.

Good Morning Lodge.

Sitting in the test cell, the engines I'm working on are all going great, but when I'm here I am going to end up troubleshooting some other engines, we'll see how that goes.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

This "company profile" is nucking futs. Think personality test on steroids, with several questions that make me wonder what they're trying to find out (agreeing/disagreeing with the statement could bring positive/negative views on me, depending on which I select. Yikes.

You still driving up to Monticello, or wherever? How are the chickens?

Becker - Monticello is where I cross the Mississippi and and look at how wide it is these days :o
And I am currently chicken free. New batch will be delivered late April

Good morning lodge.

Alex or Glenwood? I used to think I had the long commute here, but there are several employees who live in Little Falls and beyond. Heck, the guy who services our printers and copiers comes from Glenwood

What did you do with the last ones? Chicken soup?

Beautiful day here. In keeping with my attempt to be less plump and out of shape took a long walk. Didn't need a jacket. :) snow in 2 days. Sigh.

Hope you gave them a proper burial of biscuits & gravy or under a mound of mashed potatoes.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

There's a guy I work with that takes all kinds of critters that are past their prime. He does the dirty work. Not that I have a problem butchering chickens, I just don't have the wherewithal to do it while there's still two freaking feet of snow in my back yard and when that's melted it'll be a swamp until July. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Awesome! Congratulations!!!

Spoken like someone from MI. Though, we usually say that about people from your neck of the woods there, sir.
I spent a summer on Mackinac Island cleaning up after the fudgies, so I can talk smack about tourists. And trust me, you do not want to know what a quarter pound of fudge and then an 8 mile bike ride does to the average American digestive track. More than a few pairs of underwear were left in the bathrooms I had to clean out.

Did you cremated them slowly in a smoker?? ;)
