Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Which is pretty irrelevant when there is an off day between the semi finals and championship...
Yeah, I suppose that's true. There is the extra day for the frozen 4.

I found out that I wont have to be in Grand Forks for the start of the frozen 4 week. Work decided to push the trip back a week, since I was the only one that could even go and I couldn't even stay the whole week. So I might be up for something tuesday, but I still have to work on Wednesday, so I can't go too crazy.

There's a Central Lutheran School on Lexington Ave in St. Paul, not too far from my house and not a bad area at all.

Apparently the church is in an area that is bad enough they need their own security. OUr church is only a few hundred people. Having security is a mind boggling concept to the kids. :p

Well, tonight truly makes a great start to my week..laying on the beach this week with a beer in hand will be absolutely wonderful knowing the Sioux will be at the Frozen Four!!!

Well, todays ski trip was an expensive one. Got lasered for a 79 in a 65. Good skiing though.

Going to see the Twinkies play the Yankees next Wednesday for sure, got my tickets with the Bleacher Creatures tonight.

This church is in the twin cities? There are definitely some areas that a church would need security, mostly some rougher neighborhoods around Minneapolis and a couple in St. Paul.

That's the one. It is not the worst area, but far from the best. There is a service next door for homeles, but it's not like it's a real ghetto. On the other hand I wouldn't walk around there alone after dark - especially if I was female. There have been some assults in the area.

Feel free to ask away. With any luck, I won't be working there by then, but I can still advise.

On another note, at least there'll be a Cake Eater in the FF. Anders Lee is a pretty special player and from Edina. The stands should be full too with the Sue and Dogs in there. I suppose the ugly helmets will draw a few fans too.

Played varisty at STA for three years too, 8th - 10th IIRC, before transfering to Edina.

Mrs. Gonzo is pleased that at least one of us has a team to root for at the F4 :)

I'm glad to hear you are making it! When I saw you posted, I was going to ask about that.

You and the missus simply must join us one or all of those nights.
What Brent said.

Scarlet, of course I'll be in St Paul. I was going no matter what. I start the new job on april 11 so I can go. If anything Michigan making it is going to make my trip more complicated and might make it so I can't get my equipment there for the posters game.
Maybe we can work something out. We're driving and may have some room for your stuff.

Umm, you suck at reading maps. Convention Center and Loring park are not close to each other. The Chursh is by the Convention center though.
Anything after the third word is just fluff. ;)

Evening Lodge.
I think tomorrow is the day I find out that my beloved Grand Cherokee has died. Having it towed over to a shop to have them look at it.

Another live one in D1.

JFC, they're running a scorched earth campaign this year.
