Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Morning Lodge.

It's interesting how I went from wondering what I'd do with my extra ticket to having a ton of friends wanting to go. Now I'm trying to get a friend to get me a seat in the Michigan section so I don't have to sit in the rafters by myself.

I'll be cheering for a re-match of the CCHA 3rd place game, only this time for a national title.

Morning.

Board must not be up this early, or the ban hammer is broken.

I think Duluth is the team at the Frozen Four I am most likely to root for. Little sister can have a title for once.

It looks like Board woke up and blew away all of those threads.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

I always root for OT games to delay the broadcast of lacrosse. :)
I approve of this!!

I have to admit it: I hate UMD more than any other school out there. UND and UW are tied for a close second, and Mankato State comes in fourth.
I've got no love for UMD, the **** dirty bassturds. But they do have one thing on them in that matchup that makes em somewhat tolerable. At least they're not the **** coachstealing Irish. Holding my nose on that matchup and going with the lesser of evils there.

Sloe Gin,

No, I won't be at the FF. I seem to recall the team that I root for losing a couple days ago. :p Not that I would necessarily have gone anyway.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Did anyone have Kentucky and UConn in their bouncyball brackets? (I'm willing to bet no one had VCU or Butler)

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

I have a buddy that actually has VCU in the final four. He did it just because he thought it was funny to put a play-in team that far. In no way did he think they would actually do it, he is pretty shocked.

If he didn't **** with the rest of his bracket, he might make some nice money:)

I have UConn winning it all, but that's all I've got left.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

In case I wasn't clear, I just was surprised that she hadn't given out 20 Reps in over 4 months.
I don't keep up a rotation anymore. I'm all about the Retirement in the Rep Retirement Lodge.

She's given rep but is obviously snubbing you. :D
(crosses fingers he's given Ralph rep in the past 5-10 days!)
I can't rep you right now either, wise guy. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Morning, Lodge. Tired and cranky despite the good news from the weekend (heard from the other nursing school I applied to - got into both. Penn State (satellite campus) and Rivier in NH). Just want to sit with a cup of hot cocoa and watch a movie. Unfortunately, that's not realistic with the 3 kids I've got so far and there might be 2 more coming by later this afternoon before we go pick up the oldest from school (total of 6). And I have homework & reading to do. :(
Congrats on being accepted! :)

Bummer on the homework and reading, though. :(

Me too.

Must spread rep...

Mornin' Lodge.
Waiting for the hook to come get the Jeep. Maybe I should go give it last rites or something.
:(

Afternoon, Lodge. Happy Oberon day!

I has Butler winning it all here, can win both of my pools if that happens. Not a bad outcome after getting murdered in the second round of picks.

my gut tells me the avenge last year's loss with a title this year, but who knows.

Well, in 2 and a half hours my trek to MSP begins as I will depart for Mexico. Sure will be nice getting some sun, and finally some time to flat out just relax. It's been a crazy, hectic year to say the least.:)
